being told i have normal wear and tear 'that comes with age' about my 24 year old spine is wild. i still have no support for this besides my chiropractor. hypermobility is not researched enough in ways that patients want and need it to be. we want more options for treatment and support but no one can be arsed.
ive looked into treatments and know some people have been able to access ketamine infusions and lidocaine infusions (some on NHS) but i desperately dont want to keep doing things that involve stabbing my veins anymore... i know you can get nasal spray ketamine but it seems strictly for depression in the uk. feel free to leave any suggestions in the comments, i am seriously considering botox for certain muscles as i dont mind needles, i just dont like the vein route lol
