Its so weird how you can hear something 30+ years later and it takes you back to the first time you heard it...now if it could really take us back to the 80's I would be in Heaven.
I remember the day we watched this movie with my sister and brother. We couldn't get transport back home and walked about 15km home singing all the way. Didn't even feel the distance we walked was long with all the break dance music and dances still on our minds

Hanging with my boys, hollering at the ladies. Jordan's, parachute pants, Z. Cavaricci, Drakkar Noir. License day OF 16th birthday! Football in the fall, Basketball in the winter and Track in the Spring. Playing with band for high school dances! Teen nightclub Saturday nights! Movies and the Mall with money from PT job at the restaurant. Seeing movies like this then going home and practicing their moves. Prom ❤️! Losing one of my best friends Prom night 💔! First love and you KNEW she was the one (she wasn't :) Just reflecting on how great the 80's were!

Yeah, if only we could send the right folks back to the 80's, knowing what to do to change 2021 for the better, I wonder how much better ( or worse ), the world would be ? Imagine a world with NO CELLPHONES, a place where social media is simply meeting REAL FRIENDS in the mall or at the arcade . A world where illicit drugs DON'T EXIST and folks of all races are as familiar to each other as our OWN skin .

Depends where you were. For instance New York City, where breakdancing/B-boy/hip hop culture came from was 10 million times more dangerous in the 70's, 80's and 90's than today. Since then it's been turned into Disney Land compared to back then. Even places like Time Square was all pimps, prostitutes, drugs users and dealers, porn theaters. All the footage you see in this video of burned out buildings and empty lots filled with rubble, none of these places exist in NYC now. This movie, brings tears of sheer joy , to my eyes, heart and soul. This was an awesome time to grow up & to witness these many dance moves for the first time. RIP beautiful Ozone and may you be dancing with the Angels above. Thank you, for sharing. Take care all and Peace.

I played this music on my g blaster which i was so lucky to get from my dad. I had this old carpet, and i was practicing moves way until after sun down. During daytime, i was with my breaking and rap crew. Dancing was our only reason of existence. In retrospect, it saved my life.
I own the DVDs and watch them all the time. They are a time capsule of breakdance and serve as a tutorial. The second one has some phenomenal stuff you just can't find anymore. These will be shabadoo s MEMORIAL. R.I.P.

Took me back to the Boogie Down Bronx 7yrs old 1984. We watched the big kids breakin in the school yard on the cardboard. My cousin and I eventually got good and joined them on the cardboard. What a time to be a kid in NYC. Old school NY. You had to be there to understand.
2020, and I still have this on my playlists. My teenage kids are asking if this is a new song. They think they dance better than I do. I'd just laugh at them in my head and let them feel they win. :-)

I can still pic my young self, sitting inside the cinema, watching this for the very first time. It gave me a buzz, like no other. Ollie & Jerry - There's No Stopping Us. Man I remember in my 9 years old that during the lunch time at school there was a competition among the senior studens to decide who was the best dancer with this amazing and incredible track playing in the background. How simple but definetly so fun and happy our life used to be. Thank God for the opportunity to grow up in the 80's and 90's.

Turbo from Breakin 1 and 2 and lil Coco Hot tot from Breakin 1 and 2 being on set watching them shoot all these great sense been at rehearsals we all learned so much from them all shooting the movies , now there all dance legends this movies is a. 80s classic , by the way I'm Boogaloo Shrimps childhood bestfriend and I was shrimp and lil Coco guardian in set and while they worked in the entertainment business so I'm very lucky to be apart of there amazing history , thank u everybody for making them and thus movie a 80s. classic we had no idea that the movie was going to be so successful, and by the way i was there at the very beginning of Micheal Boogaloo Shrimp and Lil Coco beginning of there careers , thank you fellas for letting me be apart of your amazing history !!!!!
