The story: 3 childhood friends including 2 boys are in love with the girl. The boy (Dimash) who offers the "talismans" he has made as a sign of friendship, will marry the young girl (the "talisman" is a piece that is part of an old maritime compass and indicates the North). They will have a baby girl (the one who was killed) and the mother is expecting another baby. The third friend who became ruler, the "Piper" (referring to "Piper of Hamelin") is now his enemy, he is "the one who lost the North". Credo tu debba riguardare il video perchè ti sono sfuggiti molti messaggi. I tre ragazzi della spiaggia sono i 3 adulti della storia. Il soldato Dimash e la giovane donna sono i genitori della bambina che muore e del bambino che nasce. Il leader cattivo è il ragazzo che ha salvato il bambino Dimash. Non si deve esultare per la morte di nessuno nemmeno del nemico perchè la violenza chiama la violenza. Credo che Dimash lo abbia voluto dimostrare nella scena della vendetta personale perchè quel gesto lo porterà a sua volta alla morte. Il ragazzo alla fine è quel neonato che una volta cresciuto sceglierà la pace alla guerra e alla vendetta.

His jealousy made him the crazy piper calling for war. The baby born is Dimash's son who then gathers all cultures and religions together towards peace.

Thanks for reacting! Dimash and the lady in the movie are married (she is the little girl from the beach). The little girl who was killed is their daughter and the new baby, their son. Some think Dimash is in the afterlife at the end. Some think he is resurrected. Others think he was portraying his grown son who is the next generation who chooses life. I always think it's interesting that the reactors who are encouraging Dimash to kill the "bad guy" (who is the same person who saved his life as a child) are all shocked when Dimash is then gunned down. Killing begets more killing. You can't fight evil with evil. A very thought provoking video. I also think that it's easy to be against war and to blame our leaders, but this video points out that we have the choice of whether to follow them or not. (I understand that in some countries the choice isn't really there.) Also, we can choose life in our daily interactions with those around us, our family members, friends, neighbours, strangers we interact with and even our enemies. These little acts of peace can bring big peace. As we accept people as humans rather than getting caught up on what group they belong to, we make war less likely.

I just saw your reaction to Dimash’s The Story Of One Sky. That you did on RU-vid about a year ago. Overall I loved your reaction. The face gestures, your body language, and your sudden looks of surprise are compelling to watch. You take me on a journey during the music video. You are wonderful in your reaction videos. Thanks! However on this video that took Dimash three years to creat and developed, I was disappointed that you did not pick up on so many sybolisims that Dimash sublimely added to the music video clip. The video takes us through the cycle of life. The video almost ends where it starts. The drowning. From the start it begins with three friends of which the older boy saves the life of the younger boy. At this point we do not know who they are but in the visuals you already know that the older boy has some kind of internal conflict. Of course Dimash does not get.into it but leaves to his audience to pick up by showing you how aloof and apart he sets himself by being apart from the other two friends as he stands on the beach by himself. Does he like the girl and jealous? Dimash leaves it up to the interpreter. In the video, the young boy finds a box with some trinket items of which he makes three necks laces, one for each which Dimash symbolizes their friendship. CForward in time,they are all grown up and they are at war. How do you know this? They all wear the same necks laces. The camera cuts to a scene where the commander is speaking to the soldiers and if you notice at the beginning of his speech his hand is on the podium with his hand next to the neckalace then the camera points to the commander’s sleeve and the military cap with the same symbol which tells us he adopted the insignia to represent his ideology. Then the video cuts to another scene where the soldier is sitting down thinking of the girl as he holds his neckalace while the girl is hiding somewhere with a little girl as she holds her necklace. That’s where you should have made the connection of the three friends on the beach. I was screaming at you through the tv screen but you were in La la land listening to the crickets. Then Dimash starts doing his middle eastern style of singing and you see a bunch of people walking among them a monk. A Christian with a cross. A Jew blowing the horn and various other people. This symbolizes all religions, cultures, and nations facing the same struggles. Also when Dimash sings really high and you see various persons stopping to put dirt on the look a like Jesus that is laying dead symbolizing what is in the Bible, from dust we came and to dust we return and then as they walk up the mountain you see the two shadows almost touching, representing the 16th chapel church’s Muriel up on top of the churches ceiling where it depicts God’s hand extending his hand out to man and man’s finger almost touching God. The next scene has Dimash’s what I call an Oscar performance in acting where he finds the dead little girl. Now here is a matter of interpretation. Is the little dead girl Dimash’s daughter and the baby to be born Dimash’s other child? Then you find Dimash facing the commander with his gun. Here is another place I find myself screaming at you when you are shouting ‘shoot him’ you have to consider the internal conflict that the character is going through. As a young boy this is the man that saved his life! So it’s not that easy just to shoot your friend from childhood. Another thing that I notice is I never heard you comment on the lyrics which explained the whole video. In essence the message Dimash is trying to convey. When the song starts he mentions the Piper. In American culture there is a children’s nursery song that all kids know my heart. It’s about a cat playing a flute or in old English a pipe to seduce the mice to follow him. Is that what our leaders not doing? That’s why Dimash sings ‘when the pipers stop playing, we decide not be trailing.’ In other words stop following those that lead us to war. In the end when Dimash’s character is killed and you see him on the mountain covering his head and leading people. It kills me when people reacting say ‘oh there is Dimash he didn’t die! Or others saying that’s the bevy all grown up and taking Dimash’s place or others saying it’s Dimash reincarnated. Listen we are all different but the good thing is that Dimash leaves us with whatever interpretation we want. Genius. We’ll this is how I saw the video. Let me know if you disagree and why? Good to see you back, it's been a while. Dimash said earlier this year that despite everything we'd seen from him before, we still hadn't seen anything yet and he certainly wasn't bluffing. That metal scream at the end was shocking and certainly something he'd never done before. It will be interesting to see what he does next but in the meantime I hope his message spreads and we run with it.

The mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, 1) Dimash, who was drowning at the beginning and at the end; 2) Piper, the one who saved Dimash, and who became the leader, and who was killed by Dimash at the end; 3) The young girl, became Dimash’s future wife who gave birth to his son at the end, and Dimash's daughter who was killed by the Piper's army. They were all torn by the war. The General also uses the basic symbol on the hats and uniforms, but the small hole letting the sun shine through is missing; the General in the dark. The heartbreaking reference to John Lennon’s song, Imagine. The Pied Piper (and the Mad Piper ) are possible references. The woman giving birth is Dimash’s wife and the mother of the little girl and the new baby. I hope Dimash receives a Nobel Peace prize. I choose life and I will follow Dimash anywhere. Es muy duro pero es la realidad de la guerra, lo estamos viendo hoy en día, está sucediendo..niños que hace unos meses iban al colegio con sus compañeros y ya no existen, y los que viven están asistiendo a una barbarie que no comprenden. Son lo más desgarrador de una guerrera, el mal haciendo desaparecer la inocencia. Dimash ama a los niños. Yo amo a los niños. Tuve 4 hijos y ahora tengo tb 4 nietos.
