I really like the 1906 in general, and of the four variants we've seen so far (1906R, 1906F, 1906D, 1906U), this one (1906U) is my favorite. The emphasis on asymmetry gives these an extra edge, kind of reminds me of something like the ASICS Gel MC-Plus, another incredibly comfortable shoe I love. N.HOOLYWOOD has a 1906U collab upcoming with Invincible (boutique) in an dirty mix of greys that looks incredible, hoping to snag those. If those don't land for me, I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for what the in-house team at New Balance cooks up for some GR colorways.

I guess there is a 1906N as well, what is the difference?

@@justsayin7865 It seems like there's sort of inconsistent listings across different websites, but as best I can tell: The 1906R is the base model, and features a (mostly) symmetrical toebox and most of the upper is mesh. The 1906F seems to not be mesh, and has a different style of heel counter. The 1906D is the "Destroyed" model with frayed overlays. The 1906U is "Utility" allegedly and features ripstop instead of mesh, and has a more asymmetrical toe. The 1906N looks like it MIGHT just be a 1906U but possibly N for "New Years" for the Chinese/Lunar New Year models? But other websites are inconsistent with their listings.

I prefer this pair and it’s a. Ice look shoe! I did here that the N is the lace lock which locks your foot in which is really good for runners! I’m planning on copping a pair 👋🏽👍 I can’t believe you rated this over your ultra boost as I would but I can’t believe you did! 😂😂😂😅😅 it says a lot about the shoe!

🔥🔥🔥 This colorway is not part of the LNY Pack… not to my knowledge. It was announced with that pack which could play a part in the confusion. The ‘U’ is Utility. It's not necessarily a running shoe although it has the DNA of the 1906R. There are slight changes in this one meant to enhance its versatility. Did you notice you used that word or similar to describe it? Objective achieved. I’m impressed with the NB approach. It reminds of distinctions made with the SL72 OG vs SL72 RS. The OG is the original running spec while the RS is purely lifestyle - last and mould - with the running DNA. ✌🏽💙👟
