We had barn cats years ago, and they were quite happy. We never threw them out, they were always out, and very friendly and happy. Never mind the nay sayers.
@@laurierobertson3504 She almost died after she was born. She was named after a friend of the Arms family who recently passed near her time of birth. She is a miracle❤️
@@laurierobertson3504 she was early born and extremely small..her moms milk hadn't come in and Jessie was too weak to stand to try to nurse even if her momma had any..Daniel bought some colostrum and fed it to lil Jessie..amazingly she improved and started nursing from mom..then a few days later she just couldn't stand up and had to be rushed to the vet where she was given iv fluids and bloods taken as she was extremely poorly..she was actually given a few bags of plasma..this happened again a few months later and it wss only then she started to grow properly so she still is a tad small for her age..a few months ago she started to lose some fur..the vet did tests but couldn't find anything wrong so a few bare patches of skin with no fur is the result of that and definitely not being at Cog Hill Farm..she has been well looked after by the Arms family and loved to bits...and is still loved in her new home with Mildred and the gorgeous goats. 🇬🇧💞✝️🙏🐴👍👏🐐🐄🐂

People shouldn't assume they know how a animal is doing when they don't know, Jesse is in great company and will never be alone, love her and that adorable lil kitten is the cutest, Marycarl is growing up fast, she is almost as tall as her Daddy, well done all
Jessie is beyond adorable with all those hugs.. such a sweet lil lady! And I'm so impressed with how friendly Mildred is as well. When ya'll first got her, she wasnt so sure on the affection part, but now she's a sweetheart as well. All your animals are a perfect representation of the loving environment in which they're raised. It's beautiful to behold.

I can't understand how anyone would think she was stressed. Animals shed their winter coats, and it's obvious that Jesse is simply twitterpated with y'all. Also, you all take SUPER care of all your animals, great and small. That's pretty obvious. If you suspect one is ill, you get them medical care. If an animal - like Tiny Tim - needs to be rehomed, it goes to another loving one. You've rescued so many animals, too. People need to consider the source. All of your animals are the luckiest animals on this planet. Even I'M jealous of their life. Lol!
Alot of animals especially dogs will lose their fur if they are stressed. And a course changing homes leaving everything you know included your mother could be stressful. Jessie has gone to a wonderful home and Brooke and Jason are making her feel right at home. Some people might not know that she is losing her winter coat. I think it is wonderful that Brooke took the time to let everyone know that Jessie is okay.
@@deborajensen8637 I wouldn't expect anything less from the Cog Hill Family. I just hope, for their sake, that this won't become a normality for them. They're such a good, busy family that they don't have to explain anything to anyone. I'm sure they're fine with that right now, but over the years it might become tiresome for them. (I see this on a lot of Farming vlogs in particular).
You feed her separately from the others to make sure she eats enough, you brush her, she has plenty of animal company, she has plenty of green grass, and you all give her extra of love. Perhaps Jessie’s gentle, loving, spirit makes some people think she’s unhappy? I wish all animals could be treated like yours. 🌻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️ Fresh picked blackberries, my mouth was watering. They are never that beautiful from the market.

Thank y'all for sharing with us. Many of us don't have the room, the health, etc. to have the garden and animals, but we can enjoy through the videos. Even the blackberries. I know there were many like me who were so happy for Jsson enjoying that bowl of blackberry dumplings and ice cream. Bramble is a doll and love his tail. Thanks again for sharing. God bless you all.

Brooke thanks for telling us about Jessie, I knew she was just shedding her winter coat but some people might not have known that was normal. I don't know if DeJay told you but Jessie had her hooves trimmed 3 1/2 months ago they dewormed her then also. Thank you for taking such good care of her.💕

Debora, the hoove trimming is an important health maintenance need that is important to know about. If Dee Jay hadn't mentioned it, it was important to know Jesse's history regarding trims. I am certain that Brooke & Jason appreciated the info. Also, having grown up around animals all my life, I often forget that others don't know many of the things I take for granted. Your statement was a good reminder for me (and probably others) that not everyone has the same knowledge base. We all need to remember that Brooke & Jason's videos are not only entertaining to watch, but are educational as well. Therefore, comments need to be made with this in mind and some of the intolerance that is shown should be dialed waaaaay back. Instead we should use it as reminder that it is an educational opportunity. I don't know if I was reading too much into your comment, but I thought it was quite insightful (if I did read too much into it, please pretend I didn't😇🤣🤣).

We had a full-size donkey. He wasn't mean, but he could be stubborn when he wanted to be. His main job was to grind sugar cane and corn at a stone mill and cane grinder. He worked the same hours as a union worker. And striked when he felt the pay wasn't fair.
I'm sure it is a great comfort for DJ to see tge love and attention that Jessie is getting and to be able to watch her grow up with y'all! Beautiful blackberries!! And ya can't have blackberries without Brambles! 😂❤

Blackberries and I go way back. I’d pick and eat and bring the rest for Grandma. Her pies and crumbles were delish. I still make her recipes. Jesse is so sweet.

That is the breed mix she is. Charlais is the color,angus and hereferd for the size and all three can have a mild disposition. Especially when bottle fed and hand raised.

Jesse is a sweet girl, because of how little she is she reminds me of a very large dog. Jesse shedding is no different than a dog or cat shedding. Right now I have 3 cats and a dog that are shedding. Lots of fun cleaning up after them. Give Jesse a hug from me.
