It's RIVALRY week! Pulaski is facing off against Little Rock Christian, their rivals that BEAT them in the state finals last year! Coach Kelley and the Bruins got REVENGE on their mind. He’s building up a game plan to DESTROY Little Rock in their own stadium!
Starting QB Braden grabs a late dinner with some of the seniors to get ready for the big game. He wants to beat Little Rock Christian so bad!
Morning of the game and the players find a Little Rock Christian t-shirt on the Bruins MASCOT. Coach Kelley uses that shirt to his advantage. During the pep rally, he RIPS the shirt in half and the crowd goes CRAZY! The whole school is FIRED UP! This is the biggest game in Arkansas without a DOUBT!
Coach Kelley doesn't just want to win, he wants to DOMINATE his rival! Pulaski never punts, but early on they keep messing up on 4th down! Luckily their D is BALLING OUT, but the offense has to STEP UP! A 4th down for their rivals turns into a HUGE touchdown! All of a sudden it's a repeat of last year’s state final game.
Pulaski gets going and the teams start trading touchdowns. It’s TIED going into halftime and Kelley is HEATED! He knows they should be winning this game, and right now they are BEATING themselves. Start of the second half and the Bruins miss ANOTHER 4th down conversion, on their OWN 5 yard line.
Bruins get back in rhythm and are driving to go up by two scores. Braden throws an incomplete pass to Jayden, but the refs call it a FUMBLE!? Little Rock picked up the loose ball and runs it all the back to the house to tie the game! I’ve never seen Coach Kelley this mad...
Is this mistake going to cost Pulaski the biggest game of the year!?
