The level of which i love Shania... I sing so many of her songs at karaoke. I was really young when she was in her hayday and wished I could have seen her in concert after i got to learn about her.
I hear ya, our whole family Loved her. There were 6 girls (counting my mom) & 5 boys counting my dad). We all Love Shania. Her music was just so BEAUTIFUL & They were pick me up songs. Totally Love ❤️ Shnia

Her speaking voice is so different than her singing voice. I guess I had never heard her talk . I expected her to have a more raspy voice than hen speaking.
@@reneewinters7737her voice is different now from when she recorded those songs. She had nods on her cords and did the surgery which changed how her voice sounds. A lot of professionals chose not to removed them from fear of it ruining their voice Mariah carey has them and won’t remove them.

Today at work they played Shania Twain all day and I was feeling it. Shania Twain takes me back to when I was a really little girl and my grandma was a hair dresser (still is) and she had Shania on cassette tape. We’d dance and sing as she’d pick up her shop and sweep up all the cut hair on the floor lol I’ll always have this memory and I’ll always associate Shania with my grandma. When I was little I remember thinking how much my grandma looks like her too. And in this video I still see the resemblance! ♥️ Also, theres property that Shania used to own where I live. A super super small town in Northern NY. She had a whole ass mansion in the middle of the forest and it still stands today.
Mm one was the album before this. "Any Man of Mine" was my jam at age 8. You think between how passionately I sang that song and "No Scrubs" by TLC that I would e had better standards when it came to men 🤣🤣🤣

When I was eight, I and some other kids got to sing with her on stage at a concert in Rockford, IL. It was so much fun. When she brought us out on stage to sing, I was so confused-the stage was SO lit with bright lights that you couldn’t see the audience at all, except for faint outlines of the people in the very front row. Half way through the song, Shania took control of one of the spotlights on the stage and shined it all over the audience, and I was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of people there. 😅
I never actually tried singing this song (not just yelling it at parties) until recently, and I can confirm it's exhausting! So much harder than it sounds, but legends make it sound easy. 🔥

And my wife loved i couldn’t talk for 3 days
