Generation Z's dependence on technology, particularly through social media, has a significant impact on their lives and overall well-being. The constant stimulation and need to present idealized versions of themselves online lead to harmful comparisons, shortened attention spans, and even an accelerated aging process. While technology offers benefits, finding a healthy balance is essential for Gen Z to mitigate these negative effects and flourish. Syed Aariz - is a senior at the Harmony School of Innovation planning to attend University of Houston to major in Computer Science, will give a talk titled "There's toxicity in Gen Z."
