Hello hello readers! We are starting a new one today! Very exciting! It is There There by Tommy Orange. This book focuses on 12 characters, all Native and from a modern lens. It starts off strong with wonderful dialogue and prose as well as detailed descriptions of American Indian history. There are some passages that are definitely hard to read, but very necessary to our understanding of the horrors committed against the Native people of North America. Please take care and Happy Reading :)
CW: detailed descriptions of brutal murders and mutilation. alcohol, drugs.
