Can't help thinking Orchestra seems to be giving you the most stress and time, and it's the one thing you thought at the beginning you didn't want to do, as least relevant for you. It should get easier once you're familiar with the music, but if not, trust your instincts, don't over stretch yourself - big picture!
You don’t technically “need” an extractor fan but I would always have one. It draws out moisture/helps with humidity as much as the cooking smells. Which in your case would also be beneficial to asthma flare ups In terms of induction cookers, I’ve had one for 8 years now and wouldn’t go back. Yes, you need specific pans, but most brands these days sell them at a comparable price to any other pan. I find it cooks faster, saves energy, it’s easier to clean, and it’s safer because it cools down so quickly
Hi Imo Just remember gas is far cheaper than cooking with electricity. Plus you can still cook with gas during a power cut. I have a ceramic hob with one induction ring and it's a nightmare to keep clean. X
The one thing I like about gas is, if the power goes out you can still cook, and have some heat. If my electric stove dies, I will get a gas one. We also have a gas fireplace, and not only does it keep us toasty warm, but again, if the power goes out, we have heat. Cute outfit!. Great choice of buffet food.
