There even is this one time against Armstrong where he dodges a punch and then he touches his chin, pleased to not have been hit there for one. Only to get punched immediately afterwards, sending him scraping his chin on the ground for like 50 meters.

The scene when Raiden is running on the ceiling is cursed AF. He should be running backwards, else he is just gonna lose the train faster than standing still.
sam was strong af for me he didn't have as much enhancement as R yet he was able to keep up with him and he got on a 1v1 against armstrong and still was able to cut one of his hands
Meanwhile in the parallel universe: After long and hard fight you finally beaten Sam, just one stab to the chest. Except instead of bleeding Sam announces "warm up over" and rips off his exoskeleton revealing this sick ass outfit. The music loses all it's enhancements just like Sam did and reverts to it's raw beta version. And you, are about to fight the fastest Brazilian in the world.

Sam already bears uncanny resemblance to Vamp, but this version looks like him even more. I have a feeling they wanted to do cyber-Vamp earlier in the development, but decided to let him rest and created a Brazilian samurai doppelgänger

@@Ravil322 Raiden is a guy promoting a PMC, Sam is a guy who single handedly destroyed crime in all of Brazil, avenged his father, almost stopped a PMC and later on made Raiden into a guy who put an end to the most powerful PMC in the world. Sam might not be a protagonist, but he definitely was the hero

ngl would be poggers, but questioning if MGR 2 will ever release, or even MGS VI. However, I think Konami has to do it one day, as MGR:R has raised the popularity so much, that more people will scream for second MGR or MGS VI that continues the time line after MGR:R
I think that is too showcase Raiden's skill, the trailer can't spoil the protagonist being completely dominated by the antagonist. Similar how they don't show us how Kratos will be destroyed by Thor in the upcoming God of War game, but we all know how the fight will play out in the first fight.
Makes me wonder, if there will be a mod, to bring beta Sam into the fray for PC. Honestly would love to see him give that beautiful grin, in a cutscene like this. Man's is beautiful either way the Arm is taken, because *There will be BLOOD **_SHED!_* It's the only thing we've ever known.
I think they should have left the option we see here that Sam could take your sword and you would have to pick it up But also left intact the option that we could take his I feel that way at the time of playing the fight would be extremely equal.
I could imagine both Beta Sam and (I'm not a pro on MGS lore.) Beta Raiden fighting, both coming out severely wounded and damaged. Then being repaired with their new bodies and fighting once again.
I love how both appearances look, and I think the final design looks more like his personality if that makes sense, but ngl beta Sam could step on me and I'd thank him
