Prashant Kishor is a rare voice of sanity in a rudderless India. I hope to see him gell JD(U) into a leading political unit that replaces the Rahul /Sonia Gandhi-Congress and BJP. And, hope to see him replace Modi in 2024. However, I will urge him to continue to remain above his own, his family and his party's ambitions to serve Indian people (irrespective of caste, race, ethnicity, language, religion and nation). AND, URGE HIM TO IMPLEMENT REFORM, TRAINING AND SELECTION OF POLICE AND PARA-MILITARY PERSONNEL WHO ARE TRULY CONSCIOUS OF SERVING PEOPLE and NOT THE POWERFUL & RICH. I heard him in a Lallantop interview and was impressed by one simple comment from him. In one of his points he mentioned that he will not take or influence official government decision-making until he takes oath of office. Without taking an oath, he is not qualified to influence official government decision-making.

As a responsible citizen with apolitical views I believe that every citizen must stand behind laws and bills that are in favor of our country and its people. The intent of CAB and NRC is to further the benefits of our country to only the citizens of our nation and not to illegal immigrants. However, if I look at the intent of demonetization by this government and its implication due to lack of forethought lead to difficulty for middle and lower class people and I do not see a detailed report of such a large scale activity from the government. This is the fear that I want the government to be damn serious about as people will not forgive if you botch the CAB + NRC implementation. Irrespective of religion majority will never support marginalization or any form of discrimination to ANY minority of our nation. NRC is important for the future of our nation but a shoddy implementation will dilute its effectiveness and diminish its end result.

They were included in the list of NRC and more and more people who were poor and laborers were excluded from the list of NRC, that is, the moneylenders had bribed and got themselves included in the list and the poor people If you do not give bribe, then the incidence of expulsion from the NRC by teasing them is anticipated .... .... It was the loss of more and more poor Hindus, then lakhs of people left the NRC, which you cannot get out of the country, cannot keep in detention camps, eventually you will have to issue work permits to them ... The country would have suffered a lot of economic loss in this process, so it is good if the government abandons the idea of implementing CAA and NRC.

NRC is not needed for the people who are not Muslim. Let there be NRC for the Muslim only. Before that Secularism should be removed from the constitution.

The Congress Party accepted partition of India based on religion, a singularly communal act for a party that claims to profess secularism. Instead of insisting on exploring other avenues that could have satisfied a majority of Hindus and Muslims, the Congress party succumbed to pressure being applied by the British and the Muslim League. In accepting partition, and the inevitable transformation of Pakistan (including the now Bangladesh) into Islamic states, the Congress condemned non-Muslims there into institutionalized discrimination and persecution. However, in those days at least some of the people who made up the Congress had a conscience and realized the position they had left these non-Muslims in. The Congress's position then was that these non-Muslims in Pakistan were India's responsibility and India needed to take care of them. The degeneration of the Congress into a family business and the utter incompetence of its current leadership have forced it to play the communal card to stay politically relevant (while swearing by secularism). The Congress has no use for these non-Muslims and is happily willing to abandon them to a life of persecution - in fact the Congress is unlikely to shed a tear if the non-Muslim Pakistani refugees are sent back to Pakistan to a life of persecution and even death as long as they can use these refugees to bolster their support by creating fear among those it believes are its electoral supporters. Hence it has come out against the CAA and is ready to again abandon these non Muslims. Its supporters draw a false equivalence between Muslim immigrants who are in India illegally for economic reasons and non-Muslims from Pakistan and Bangladesh, who are fleeing institutionalized religious discrimination.
