I honestly think it needs a compete makeover. It needs cut and conditioned, it's lost its natural shine. She would look so much younger if she got a beautiful style. It's her hair I'm speaking about not her as a person.

You commenting on someone’s looks is telling about your own self esteem. Beauty is subjective and while you think her hair is extreme, it makes her feel beautiful. Your gray hair can be said to be unkempt, but that wouldn’t be nice to say and it wouldn’t matter as long as you feel good with it.
