The Afghan who shot and killed her son also killed two other Marines. The killer was a minor working for the Afghan police chief rather than being a police officer himself. RIP

My oldest was in Iraq and for seven months I was on pins and needles the entire time! Every time I heard a knock at the door, my heart skipped a beat until I knew who it was. I've also lost a son and have pursued this type of communication over 9 years. If family does it more than once they'll eventually come to understand the "dead" are really still here and there's nothing to fear or mourn. We plan these events together with our soul family before each incarnation when it doesn't seem like a big deal, rather an opportunity to grow spiritually. This is not something to "believe" - just like when Columbus found the world was round - it wasn't a matter of believing him- but eventually it became common knowledge through time and experience. Plenty of info out there in books, on RU-vid... but when you lose a child some people gain the ability to focus on it long enough to make sense of it all. I lost my dad in 2009, miscarried my first in 2010, lost my husband in 2016, lost my 17 year old niece in 2018, miscarried my second in 2018, lost my 35 year old niece in 2019, lost my mom in 2019, lost my brother in 2023. Wish I could give both mom and son a hug I hope the Marine is resting in peace.My husband deployed to Afghanistan and I remember him telling me that his command kept telling soldiers in the company to be VERY wary of the ANAs.Shortly after his battalion came back to the states the FOB him and his battalion were at got taken over.
