The guilt (that he couldn't save them), grief, and sadness he must feel and probably will forever feel. My heart goes out to this family, especially him. I feel bad for the parents for the loss of their daughter and for the mother for the loss of her mother as well. I can't even imagine and hope I never will know what they are going through. Such a loss.

I cried my eyes out!!! My sister and her children died in a house fire 2 years ago. My sister and my niece were holding each other as they took their final breath. So I can imagine the agony this family is feeling.

As a father of three daughters who are now 21, 19, and 15 I couldn’t imagine ever losing anyone of them. I know I am the type of person who could not go on and if I did I would never find a moments happiness in this life. The fact that it happened to their daughter who was still a little girl and so innocent and beautiful and I’m sure a daddy’s girl it makes me cry to think of if dad or mom going through that. The pain that has to be plaguing their hearts is unimaginable. Literal pain in your heart and chest 24/7 thinking of and missing her. Freak things do happen. 30 years ago I was sitting on my bed writing. I had just switched the oil heater on. Suddenly I heard a noise and the control mechanism fell off the heater and it set itself on fire. I jumped up, unplugged it and threw a blanket on it. I saved myself. If I’d have been sleeping it would have ended me… My condolences to this beautiful family. 💐

Losing loved ones in this manner would be pure torture. The pain and grief this family is experiencing is tremendous. I cried uncontrollably as I watched the mom and dad relive that horrific event. I am not a father, but that poor father's heart is so torn....for the loss of his daughter and the fact that his mother in law saved his son. What a mind fuck that must be.
