Hello everyone, commissioner here. This is my second commission track. Sonic.EXe vs RED is my 3rd favorite MU of all time, fan war introduced to this MU and over the years I have grown to really love it. I love creepypastas and RED is my favorite Creepypasta character and I would love to see him have his own commission track. hot take I like Sonic.EXE as well, I’ve known Sonic.EXE sense I was a kid and I’ve seen a lot of animation videos of him especially to one made by Tornt. What I love about this MU is that the animation could be really fun, it has a lot of fun animation potential and the dialogue potential would interesting. It’s also debatable and for who I think wins, well I’m rooting for my boi RED but I feel like EXE might win. I’m really excited for you guys to listen to this amazing track Therewolf made and I hope you all enjoy it.
@@westpion8451 I’m gonna go with RED winning. Both of them are viruses/spiritual demons who can control reality and are aware of the 4th wall (tho RED is able to kill and hurt people in the rl) But RED is said to have raised a level of Hell and killed a monster who can break the moon in half. It also blitz killed the real Godzilla, Mothra, Anguirus and Solomon. Note Sonic.EXE is NOT LORD X IIRC, Sonic.EXE has a weakness of overconfidence seeing himself as a god, RED is more focused and ruthless instead of playing with his victims.
This wouldn't happen. Joe stated that X lacks emotions and his mind isn't bound by the human psyche. If anything RED would be the one to fear X. Since X can manipulate Emotions, Minds, and Souls. Something RED himself has never resisted.
*Sonic.EXE is chasing Tails, then a text appears that says "RUN", Tails cries thinking it's Sonic.EXE is chasing him but then he noticed that Sonic.EXE is standing still but looking at the sky confused. Then RED appears burning Green Hill by just standing there, Tails screams but RED steps on him, killing him instantly and then he looks at Sonic.EXE while saying "i said run". Sonic.EXE flies to attack RED while RED runs to Sonic.EXE* _FIGHT!_

A better descriptor for Sonic.EXE and RED would be "a genocidal entity impersonating the blue furry speedster" and "the demon who terrorized the old-school videogame Godzilla" respectively.
(It’s been a while since I read the Godzilla NES creepypasta, so please excuse me if this is a bit rusty) X loved this game. Every time he felt another gullible sap wrap their fingers around the cartridge, he knew they were his, and his alone. Another soul to his collection. Another toy to bend and break. Another servant… to their god. He relished the look of mortal terror as he peered through the screen at his latest victim. His little display with Miles, the echidna, and Ivo should have acted as a nice appetizer for what was to come next… “So, friend…” X breathed out, the fingers of his blood-stained gloves trailing against his cheeks in a monstrous smirk that grew larger every second. _“Ready for round two-?”_ *”FLESRUOY LLIK”* X paused as he saw the red text suddenly pop up in front of him. Directly in front of him, blocking his view of his latest plaything. Where did that come from? And more importantly, the way it was flipped from his perspective… was this message meant for his victim? In the other side of the screen? *”LLIK LLIK LLIK LLIK LLIK LLIK LLIK LLIK LLIK LLIK LLIK LLIK LLIK”* The red text directed towards X’s new toy, _his rightful claim,_ started to multiply. It grew in quantity, swarming the screen and blocking his view of the soul HE now owned. “You…! Stay out of my way! This human is my property!” X screeched to the unknown messenger, clawing at the text that blocked his view of his next meal. Alas, the text just kept growing, more and more instances of the red words manifesting every second… until they stopped. And from there, a few instances of the word “KILL” dissipated, soon creating three massive holes in the cesspool of letters, forming a face. A hollow grimace stared both out at the player… and in at X. X growled, now having a face to attribute to the sudden interruption of his game. The rage inside the monster posing as the blue hedgehog overrode any other emotions he would’ve felt when he saw two red skeletal arms claw out of the conglomeration of “KILL”s and swiping at him. Flying back, X witnessed the arms push through the messages and reveal a large crimson beast crawling towards him. The… thing looked intensely emaciated, a collection of spidery legs attached to a ribcage with a scorpion tail at the back. The skull of the creature featured that same hollow grimace he saw earlier. This was it. He had his intruder. “…A lesser demon makes itself known to me. How quaint.” X spoke, his fist tightening and his yellow teeth baring. “Alas, you’ve interrupted an hour of worship to this world’s _god._ And I’m afraid such actions lead to consequences.” All the anger from before started to twist itself into pure sadism. This freak wanted to rob him of his fun? Fine. He’d just play a new game. One to vent all the frustrations he’d built in the moment. “So, how about this? I’ll give you to the count of three. To flee as fast as you can…” The phony Sonic imposter wagged his finger as his pupils flashed velvet. “I seek… _you hide.”_ All RED did in retaliation was open his jaw, his mouth extending further and further to reveal the inky void within his maws, equipped with an inner set of teeth ready to launch outward. And a new text in red letters appeared, this time facing X. *”RUN”*
@@tamsuemomwife That would be in his character to run like Sonic to get up there being a fanboy of him and all but, that'd be too anticlimactic. I'd rather have exe BE exe.

If it were up to me I would have a few parameters for this fight 1. Sonic.exe and RED would be accurate sizes to the franchises the parody (RED being enormous while EXE is the same size as Sonic) 2.They would be digital entities rather than flesh and blood characters 3.The analysis of the fight would have Wiz and Boomstick playing their respective games until the "ITS TIME FOR A DEATH BATTLE!!!" where Wiz flips the switch on something that would merge the 2 games to have them fight As for who wins my moneys on EXE. Red has had his control over his domain be userped before while EXE has not (at least not to my knowledge, I only know about the original)
It took a literal divine intervention to just *BARELY* kill red . Sonic.exe is tricky since it heavily depends on which version of him you're using since Red outright claps him if we're using the first Sonic.exe since Sonic.exe has displayed little to no feats
@DepressedWendigo that's fair, but the way I see it the OG EXE has a bit of "reality warping" abilities and the divine intervention you mentioned proves that Red's control can be overtaken. The way I interpret their powers is control over their own games (or in this case "reality")
@@tigerfire8985red could directly attack his game’s player and force them to play else they die, the furthest beyond the fourth wall the original Sonic ever went was making a plushie appear. The size different is also laughable, monster that is triple the size of godzilla vs a three foot hedgehog

I don't know how you've managed to make me excited over a Sonic.EXE match, but this track is so good. Loved the retro game style of it all while also getting very grand towards the end. Also, that track title is perfect.
One thing I thought could be interesting in the animation for this matchup is how the characters could be portrayed. You could have EXE trying his absolute hardest to come across as genuinely scary and threatening to RED, only for him to sound more like a child trying to be intimidating, and when he gets put on the backfoot and starts to lose, (which I hope he does) he sounds like a whiny toddler whose upset that things arent going his way whilst also begging for mercy from RED in hopes that he doesnt kill him. Whilst everything RED does in the animation that tries to be scary or intimidating, its actually effective and easily strikes fear into EXE. It could be something towards the end of the fight along the lines of EXE saying something like "No, stop! This is impossible! I am the God of this world! I cannot let myself lose to vermin like you!" with RED responding to him with something like "You're no God, you're a rodent pretending to be God. You're even more pathetic than I thought. If you truly consider yourself a God... then why don't you make like one... and KILL YOURSELF."
@Annihilate0405 I like that. Maybe if we're using Joe's take on EXE, since he's confirmed to be Lord X, maybe have a fakeout death where RED eats EXE with his intestine tongue. Afterwards the world around RED fades to black as EXE reappears behind RED as a giant head and pair of hands, similar to how he appears at the beginning of PC Port, eclipsing RED in sheer size, even in his final form. Then have EXE give a genuinely cool and chilling monologue to RED, which added with him being impossibly larger than him, finally gets RED to show true fear before EXE repeatedly crushes him with his hands and eats him.
@@MrAutistHonestly that's my favorite idea for the animation, have him start as the way more cheesy and cringe 2011 EXE, and then as the fight goes on have him transition into Joe's genuinely good version of the character. Having him change into Joe's take as the fight goes on also allows him to do some really creepy eldritch stuff along the lines of Sonic2011 and Sonic PC port
Sonic.EXE in lore doesn't feel any form of emotion and is unbound by human psyche. At best he'd laugh at RED's attempts to strike fear into him. And hit RED with his influence and mind control which can affect beings with darkness in in their hearts in lore.
@Squeam9750 Yeah, but he never got close to dying, so if he DOES get to that point, it could lead to him feeling fear, SOMETHING he's NEVER SUPPOSED TO FEEL. That would be CHILLING.
Man… downloading those two creepy roms was the best decision I’ve ever made. Sure I have to stop visitors from using the damn thing but watching these overhyped viruses fight is certainly entertaining.
YOOOOOOOOOO NO WAYYY!!! This is one of the matchups i was always interested in in terms of how the track will sound like, and boy howdy consider me excited!!
This one hits all the right spots on the nostalgia side for those that experienced the peak of Creepypasta which is great since this match is easily one of the best for the genre.The track is great mixing action horror in a haunting sense that gets more and more disturbing and glitchy,it gives of a real sense of running but it being completely meaningless in the grand scheme of things as it shows by the amps in intencity to a godlike level near the end.Added points for the well placed references at the start to set the mood and at the 2:27 that one really takes you back to that Creepypasta period plus it just sounds cool and blends with everything so well. That art is also amazing like wow props to the artist for it plus the title is pretty darn unique. Don't really mind who wins (as they are both just really bad) but while most at first glance would think RED has this after the blog for the match seems like the odds may have changed for this so i'd have to side with EXE on this.
Funny how the timing on this went, because August 9 is the official anniversary of Sonic.EXE Anyways what can I say that other people haven’t already said about this? Love the track, every single part hits hard, I especially love the reversed segments, this gives me actual chills
Leave to a commissioned track to get me to advocate for a matchup. I like this for the uniqueness alone. EXE and Red should be fighting over a human who is playing either’s game. The other character invading their opponent’s game. The human player should be live action which I think would be a unique touch, with the battle being, fittingly, sprite art. Maybe they could warp to different sections of their worlds, like the forest from Entropy. We could see the various creatures get caught in the crossfire. As for who wins? I’d say Red has a good chance at winning. His first form was defeated, but he’s only truly weak to holy powers. And even then, Red didn’t go down without a fight. As a final touch, what if the victor possesses the monitor showing the fight? Either text flashing on the screen, or a jump scare from the victor, like what Bill did.
Ive always been a fond of this matchup since the day i found out about it. 2 powerful Creepypasta antagonists haunting a video game; 1 poorly written and 1 well written. Peakpasta if i do say so myself
It manly comes down to which version of sonic.exe is used, the weaker one get curbstomp by red but the stronger ones make red their plaything and there not much red can do against the stronger version of sonic.exe
I love how you mixed the gensis style of music into a incredibly scary and unsettling song and what I assume to be the start of the battle 0:50is the perfect kind of medley that two "old video-game" creepypastas that have no reedeming qualities and just want to torture you would have(also is it just me or does the start sound a bit like the corpse bride theme?)
Hard agree. Love the recent interpretation of Sonic.exe, being 2011X (they made the story decent now and it’s not made by JC anymore!) but Red has a really great story and his design goes so hard.
Scneario: from the perspective of the screen,a guy on his computer opens a emulator,he opens up sonic 1 until eventually when it cuts to the start screen the screen starts to glitch flashing black and red. The guy tries to delete the tab but cant so he opens a side bar full of the games on the emulator and tries to switch games only to find every game has been changed to godzilla nes but with a destorted cover along with a changed black and red color scheme,the glitching on sonic 1 stops only to be greeted to the iconic sonic exe start screen with sonic.exe himself in the center along with the water in the backround red and the "sega_1991" trademark in the corner changed to "sega_666". Meanwhile,the covers of the godzilla nes games have switched from godzilla on the cover to RED, at this point with both of the characters each staring into the screen,they eventually shift eyes not before looking directly at eachother. The whole screen then cuts to red and black glitches like before on sonic 1 before stopping to reveal sonic and RED on the iconic distorted sonic.exe version of green hill zone. The fight then begins
This is certainly one of my favorite Death Battle of all! And finally listening to an epic song by two of my favorite characters from the creepypastas was very good! Seriously, perfect music!!!
Of all the matchups that could’ve been commissioned as a track, I never thought this one would happen not by Brandon or Therewolf but he we are…AND I AM LOVING IT. I’ve always felt very fond of this matchup for many reasons ever since I was a younger boy so this just made my day lol. Edit: Sonic.EXE ftw! (I still like RED just my opinion from what I know of both of them don’t come at me.)
im pretty sure 2011 X wins because he has universal feats and has the abilities of sonic. Note, im pretty sure this is 2011 X because its supposed to be the original sonic.exe
I wonder if death battle would count fan games as a source of scaling or power but I could see them using the creepy pasta they came from and take their word for it in the story for powers and scaling and the actual game they’re based on 😅

@@gregger_mcgregger original versions are nearly equal in terms of abilities and powers, but the one who's winning is OG Sonic.eXe simply because of 2 factors X uses a vessel that is meant to replicate the properties of Classic Sonic's body, who already is capable enough to go beyond the speed of light as of Sonic CD (Time Warp Signs needed someone to go beyond lightspeed to be used as explained by the JP Manual), and also because X has the power to manipulate anything he pleases as long as he doesn't go beyond his own dimension (our dimension or higher), otherwise his powers become heavily restricted RED, despite being an entity that somehow got inside the personalization cartridge and was capable to altering it beyond recognition, had a lot of limits as he had to obey the rules of the cartridge itself or there would be intervention (happening because RED moved one of the monsters out of Zach's grasp and tried to kill him when that one monster was still yet to be destroyed), and that intervention caused Melissa to pop inside of it and give Zach a monster capable to fight back X wins but at a High/Extreme-Diff, being almost a mirror match as both share closely the same abilities if they both duel in the NES Cartridge, but is also capable of winning very easily if they go at it in X's own dimension as the rules are established by him
So many tracks to commission, so little time, wouldn't you agree Love the feeling of dread the song gives off which is perfect for two characters who in essence, are just two campfire stories.
The main thing with this matchup is uh...which Exe? The new canon one by Joedoughboi, or the old canon one by the uh...problematic guy. Regardless, I feel Red wins, the difference is in how close it'll be.

Sonic Exe is like that little brother that wants to be like the cool big brother and his friends. But ends up being taken as a troll pasta and red ( bring the older brother, has to convince sonic exe to let other sonic exe fans help him so they can make sonic exe look cool, Sonic exe: what are you talking about? It'd be cool (if this fight is ever made) that it has this gimmick where there are two "extras": a godzilla sprite and a tails sprite that keep running away from the action or distract the demons in some way.
