my mom told me a couple weeks ago about how i used to act like an animal. i know that this sounds really weird, but she claims that when she went into my room in the night to check on me, I would purr and growl at her in my sleep. i don't remember that at all. all through elementary school, when we played house, i was the dog or the cat. always. i used to be really obsessed with the woods. all the furniture in my room was made with unpainted, plain wood. i wanted a mural of the woods on my wall. i clearly remember wanting to one day, wake up as a fox or a cat. at school, i would growl and scratch at people if they got me upset. (this was in first grade btw) ive never been anything except an animal all for halloween. at school I would constantly wear tails and ears. i also wore collars occasionally. i used to do paw formation. like all the time. i loved the woods. they always felt so comfortable to me, like a home away from home. about three months ago i learned about therians. the moment i looked it up, I knew. recently ive been questioning. ive been digging for memories, and listening to meditation music to help me shift. i have a lot of species dysphoria. im pretty sure im a therian. remember, everyones journey is different. there's no right or wrong way to discover you're a therian. if you're questioning, give it some time. the universe will help you work it out, I promise.
Mad props to everyone in this video!! I attempted some quadrobics having been inspired by the tik toks, actually managed to jump a small obstacle and had a lot of fun! But then I woke up this morning and literally couldn’t move lol
recently discovered im a therian, but i struggled with figuring out my theriotype because a lot of the videos ive seen have been of people who kin animals that typically run on all fours (not to say you cant, its just what i saw often). now i know my kin type is a crow, and while quadrobics seem cool and all, they dont really help me connect with my kin type. does anyone have any suggests on alternates?
While it sort of sounds like the polar opposite of a bird, I’d actually suggest swimming. Gliding through the water is comparable to gliding through air, I’ve found, and if you close your eyes you can picture yourself soaring through the sky. Another option is jumping from tall (ish) places like trees or close to the ground balconies. Be careful not to hurt yourself though!!
I’d say just on a trampoline while it rains. I’m s bird therian but don’t know my bird theriotype. When I jump with my eyes closed it feel like flying in the rain! (Also you go higher when the trampoline is wet)
It feels good to be back in the community, I stopped doing therian stuff when me and my mom + my big sis had a little bit of "The talk" so I didn't do any therian things for half a month, but Idc anymore, I'm a therian so I'm going to act like one, even if I have to hide it from my parents!

I feel so comfortable saying this on a thrown video: When I was younger I uses to go on my hands and knees so much that I for scars on my knees because I got blisters so much from being on my knees!!!
Someone help :( !!!!! My mom says these jump are too dangerous (quadrobics and jumps That we have to land with our hands) , and then she tells me not to practice so I don't break anything. And I don't want to give up! I want to keep practicing even if she doesn't know The problem is... I'm now afraid to break something , how come I'm sure I don't break anything and do the jumps well? I want to practice them well! And make sure nothing's break or hurt.
make sure your arms are NOT straight if they are straight when you land it can hurt you also make sure land with you feet close together have them close together and bent to help take the impact.
NEVER put your hands flat! If you fall on them, it could break something. Instead, curl the tips of all your fingers when you jump. It makes for a pretty safe landing :)

Therians I need help! Im trying to figure out my theriotype but im struggling to find something Signs: -I get phantom tail,ears and teeth. My phantom tail is thick and fluffy. My ears are also thick and soft. Its a little hard to describe my teeth/fangs since I don’t get them often -I have species dysphoria. I have a longing to go out into my natural, habitat (which idk what it is) and I get so upset that I will never be able to -I’ve always loved the idea of running through a field, but my human body isn’t as fast as I wish I could go -through meditation, I’ve seen a canine of some sort. Medium-small size, medium-small paws, black back, with brown and red and a pale/white underbelly and muzzle area. I’ve also seen a creepy bear watching me through the trees and I got so freaked out I stopped mid meditation -I get mental shifts of wanting to curl up, sniffing the air for something, I’ll tilt my head at things but im still present and in control of my body, I just let it happen -When I get phantom tail I LOVE wagging it, but I feel more wild than domestic Please help 🥲

hiii im new to quadrobics myself (therian here) and well it takes alot of time I had to get comfortable walking before even atempting a jump but mainly did spring walking (i made the name idk) which is where i would walk trot and kinda bounce but its kind of still a walk (sorry this is so confusing i know) and after practicing alot and became comfortable with it I fell on my face and the second time and on the third i jared my arms but that was a while ago and my jumps are great now (pratice is key) ALWAYS STRETCH BEFORE AND AFTER AND MAKE SURE TO NOT OVER WORK YOURSELF

Ok so.. i wanna know if im a therian idk I sympathize with animals a lot easier than humans I sometimes cry about not being a canine or animal When i see an edit about being a human (by a therian) id get upset again I feel more comforted by animals Animals come first, always I love climbing trees I do quads and I love it I am happier when i have my mask on(i got masks cuz i like therians) When i look at my reflection, i dont really "recognize" my face. I felt connected to nature I went on a walk (had to stop cuz my moms legs are trash rn aka her knee broke and her foot is dyin) and i barely sweat or itched and i felt happy I like to move my ears like a cat (ever since a few years ago) I acted like a cat around a cat i saved (now we moved and i terribly miss him, but when we saw him he WAS ABOUT TO DIE. HE WAS STARVING..) And loved it I close my eyes in my room and do tiny quads and i imagine im a cat or four-legged animal and when i open my eyes it feels off. I forget my room. I play with my dog on all fours like i am a dog myself and IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY. ARRHFHGHFH
I think you are a therian I am to!!! You should go to google and do a therian quiz and if you are a therian you can do a theriotype quiz remember you can have more then 4 but if you have more then 4 seems fake. Anyways have a good day
{PIN PLEASE TO SPREAD THE WORD} Therianthropy is where you identify and or connect to an animal mentally, psychologically or spiritually, doing quadrobics dosent make you a therian. You can not pick to be a therian or pick what your theriotypes are, some people just choose to express it more, you can do quadrobics as many think it’s a way to connect to your theriotype(s) but you don’t have too. Being a furry is someone who draws, has interests, dresses up or makes ocs of animals but they are not therians. ( they make animals that can walk and talk like humans usually) A Zoophile is someone who is sexually attracted to animals, if you are a therian doesn’t make you automatically a zoophile. You don’t have to have gear ( mask, tail , ears ect.) but some people do, to either look/feel more like their theriotype or to hide their identity whilst making content. Therians/otherkins, Furrys, Quadrobists and Zoophiles are COMPLETE diffrent things, so if you want to hate on therians or otherkins please research so you ACTUALLY understand. Being a therian isnt a choice, it’s not all fun and games.
You can be any animal we do quads which is running/walking/jumping on our hands and feet, and just to let you know being a therian is not a choice :D (hope this helps in anyway)

It takes practice, when I started out I woke up sore every morning, sometimes to the point where I couldn’t walk. But since I practiced, it’s gotten a LOT easier! (Also, being a therian isn’t a choice just to be happy. Quadrobics, however, is.)

It’s not a sin! It’s just a belief, but you can be a therian if you’re a Christian. You don’t get to choose if you are / aren’t a therian, so even if you’re Christian, Muslim, ect, it’s not a sin/it’s not wrong! Being a therian is when you believe you either have an animal soul,or your past life was an animal.
Ok i’m sorry guys but I have trouble accepting therains because this is just so foreign. People can’t identify as other animals…. But know what? Who gives a crap! These people do what makes them happy, I’ll do the same :)

It’s where you believe that you have an animal soul trapped in a human body, or when you believe you were an animal in a past life and you believe that you’re still highly connected to that animal.
