This build of EM can't do much against branded unfortunately. If you're looking for a good branded matchup, you want a more machina-centric build with Ruinforce otk potential to beat over branded's giant assholes.

@@halowaffle25 oh the build mbt was playng can easly beat branded, the reason why the ruinforce build is so popular is becaose it plays around the scythe lock and branded does not do that. This version of EM is so much better than the ruinforce version in my oppinion.

As someone who plays at a locals almost filled with branded players semi regularly, i can Answer your question Not really, usually they have a teensy bit more advantage than me that snowballs into game most of the time

@@leoornstein3963 yeah... Dragons have always been this games favorite child. No matter the circumstances, Dragons always get support. Meanwhile, Pyro still hasn't seen any printed out for it for years, Reptiles have had Meh support. Sad really.

@@ChrisPBacon-zf5gm Yeah, but you never really play Shekinaga in Earth Machine. It's bad especially going 1st too.

Regulus is playable in basically any machine deck, or even a deck that has an easy way to get machines to grave. At worst it's a splashable one-of Omni negate if your combo has ANY way of getting a machine in bin before any locks, if you can draw it off the top. Honestly, it's one of the worst designed cards in ages. A free summon with a ridiculously easy activation condition that's a body on board and a omni-negate, with no xeno-lock or summoning limitation to speak of. Remember when getting a single omni-negate took actual effort and risk instead of 'just have one of the most common card types in bin'? There are ways of giving Earth Machines a negate in a balanced way, but I didn't think it'd be this obnoxiously easy to get out.

@@AdHocWholius regulus is good but it doesn't break any deck right now. It's best in abc and even there the thing that pushed abc's playability the most is the brave engine.

@@Fassle sure it doesn’t break anything but the other guy is more talking the design philosophy behind regulus. Remember when dropping a quasar after a long ass synchro chain was the minimum effort you needed to drop an omni-negate to mess with your opponent. Now with regulus it’s literally just “oh I have regulus in hand and a way to dump an earth machine into my grave. Guess I have a negate ready to go to insulate the rest of my combos.”

It makes sense why on paper. The deck - that he's running, because he doesn't have Gearframe for some reason - is just the Master Duel deck but swapping VFD for Regulus, and in his deck, a Regulus that you're not regularly searching (because no Gearframe). It shouldn't BE good, given how much the meta has sped up. It is, but that says a lot more about what a sleeper deck it is in Master Duel than anything else.

@@LtLabcoat gearframe cant search regulus... But i feel like the version mbt showed in his video is a milion times better than the gearframe version becoase IT CONFLICTS. DOZER LOCKS YOU INTO EARTHS AND RUINFORCE IS A DARK. Why do people love the gearframe version so much

@@LtLabcoat gearframe is poopy, it does not start the box loop doesn't give you anything else than a mediocre +1 while trencher on the other hand is a +3 basically, I would not run gearframe if I where you, but of course it's only an opinion

Peacekeeper instead so you can get a search for gearframe. But I’m playing irradiator and air raider, so it combos better with that and reduces how often you can miss timing with peacekeeper- that said it still does what it needs to and gearframe’s options are too good to pass up

By 2028 cards will be so cracked that for Master Rule 8 Konami will be adding deck traps, that can be activated from the deck, because hand traps are too slow and not strong enough.

Although it isn't as crazy as one would think, this list doesn't help. Earth machine has transferred away from heavy dozer builds such as this one.

This is good enough to compete... You could probably top a YCS with this if you played perfectly.

You would need another good earth machine archetype with an easy access to a negate without locking yourself and an easy way to extend (without relying on 2 cards)

This deck needs Adventurer and DPE to enter the banlist. Without those, Earth Machine is genuinely good. But it can't work with either of those, and they're basically mandatory for doing well in the current meta.

Im glad to see someone else thinking the same. The Infinitrack is super cool as it's resource loop is super consistent and I love it. But the Machina focused build I think is the way forward, because of the fact that Regulus serves both as negation and extension with Machina Gearframe. The fact it can equip the Gearframe you detach from Gear Gigant and then re-special summon is so much advantage for the deck. It means full combo is an omni-negate, draw 2 and a citadel

ABC Therion is very based

Therions can flood the field with ABCs by dragging them from the grave to the S/T zone and allowing them to re-summon themselves on the same turn, letting you +1, spam Links, drop your Dragon Buster, and also have a King hanging out on the field as a monster Solemn and beatstick. Therions are in general an incredibly potent splashable 9-10 card toolbox (3x Therions of your type, 3x Jule, 3x Therion Ring, minimum 1x King if you aren't machine and run 3x King if your type is psychic) that can allow much older/slower decks to play through modern hand-traps. Their type-effects range from ok (Lily deck thinning, Lonefire synergies) to fantastic (King spot negate) and Jule is always there to lock down a board. At the same time, for anything that can interact with the S/T zone or faceups like Union monsters Therions turn into absolute crack cocaine. It doesn't seem like it's slowing down either, Empress (the upcoming reptile Therion) has swarming ability and Therions' Irregular (boss monster) makes running a bigger Therion toolbox or a pure Therion deck way more rewarding by giving you the freest deck wipe in the game and making stacked effects easier. Looking forward to when the beast Therion happens and makes Crystal Beasts tier 0...

Playing this deck ive rarely struggled to break past a single interruption. That being said some people are opting to go for gearframe as the new starter over cruncher, who combos really well with Regulus in giving you another free body on board cause gearframe happens to be a union monster. This also means not being forced to play 3 of all the cards you want to search.

@@Rurike you play 3 of all the cards you want to search because they are good. There is a reason you run effectively 15 copies of Brutal Dozer because it is your best card. Also, no one plays the deck so 90% of the time I summon Metalcruncher it gets Ashed/Impermed/Veiler and I just go "okay good job" while I have Heavy Forward or the actual Dozer already in hand. Dozer is one of the biggest choke points out of any deck because he is already an inherent -1 to bring out and he loses to pretty much every hand trap. The deck needs really niche hands to play through Dozer getting negated since you don't run a lot of extenders.

@@amethonys2798 Sounds like people are still playing earth machine very outdated. Look at how people are playing the deck at YCS remote duel events and the like. People have been dropping cruncher and for good reason. I personally think playing more than 1 (even at that 1 seems not good) Your Machina engine gets you to the infinitracks, along with the infinitracks rolling you to citadel in the end. No reason to play that many infinitracks anymore. Also this list in this video shows you why people shifted from these type of lists.

Vs Herald is straight-up "who goes first, wins". Herald can't do anything against Citadel.

Do u have the deck profile or combos for it and can it play through multiple hts?

Yes. I have a list that I believe can beat most of the decks currently tearing up the meta. With the right hand it plays through multiple handtraps while still ending on full combo and your main combo only requires 1 card. So if you look up a sunavalon combo tutorial essentially you'll get big tree plus 2 searches. When you Search get therion plant and either shadow or bouncer. Next play therion plant before making big tree and use the therion to get the field spell. Next make melias with 1 Jasmine and summon loci back. Next make big tree. So if you searched shadow you can proceed to link climb into benghalancer, however if you still have a normal summon you can summon cactus bouncer and lock your opponent out of special summons. Effectively your ending on 3 pieces of interaction guaranteed all with 1 normal monster. This deck can also play adventure for even more hantrap protection.
