In this Physics video in Hindi we explained the thermal expansion and we discussed about different coefficients of thermal expansions, viz., coefficients of linear expansion, coefficients of area expansion and coefficients of volume expansion.
Thermal Expansion : When a body is heated, it expands. This phenomenon is known as thermal expansion.
When we give heat energy to a body, its atoms starts vibrating vigorously, resulting in the need of more space and hence the body expands.
Coefficients of thermal expansion : The part by which the body expands for unit change in temperature, is known as coefficients of thermal expansion.
Values of coefficient of linear expansion for some materials:
values are in 10^(-5) K^(-1)
Aluminium 2.5
Brass 1.8
Iron 1.2
Copper 1.7
Silver 1.9
Gold 1.4
Glass (pyrex) 0.32
Lead 0.29

Good Evening sir , yeh jo change in length hai vo time independent hai yaani ki yeh jo bhi expansion ho rha hai aur usme Jo bhi temperature change consider krr rhe hai vo sirf aur sirf uss object ka temperature hai ? Yaani ki ek certain object jb utna temperature acquire kr lega tb hum measure krengey and tab hmey vo appropriate reading milegi yaani ki iska matlab yeh hua ki surrounding ki temperature mtlb environment k temperature change se hm yh measure nhi kr sktey aur ye iss formula ki limitation hai prr kya koi aisa formula yh method hai jissey ki hm yeh pta kr sktey ki environment ka temperature change something ∆T hua hai toh T time baad ek certain material ka length mai kitna change aya hoga agar uska Temperature receptivity (hypothetically) Beta hai toh kya aisa sch mai hota hai ?

so this is the actual reason behind melting of things like gold that when we provide heat to them they start expanding and more and more heat result in lower concentration of the particles in the object as it is spreading away and ultimately it becomes liquid and so same for becoming from liquid to gas pls correct me if i am wrong i am just a 8 student but still i understood this very well your teaching skills are over god level thanks.....

Because wo change in temperature hai....1°C and 1K change same hi hota hai.. Ya to tum aise kar lo ki pehle 10°C put karo fir uska value Kelvin me nikalo fir 110°C put karo aur uska value Kelvin me nikalo aur dono ko minus kar do......remember it is change in temperature...hope u understand😊
