Nice examples of thermal camera use. Also, when you have a circuit that is not working, a thermal camera will often quickly tell you which component is responsible.
Sorry to be so off topic but does anyone know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly forgot the password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me.
this would be a really useful tool for hvac technicians. I can think of alot of uses for it in my trade. Just for tracing malfunctioning parts it would be an awesome diagnostic tool
+ElectroBOOM My school is so poor, they had Windows 98 PCs with 128MB RAM for 14 years straight. My school is so poor, they still don't have sound insulation in 95% of the rooms despite 8m high ceiling. My school is so poor, they some times don't have paper towels for the toilet rooms. My school is so poor, they had to close down the PC room because there was no money to pay somebody to set up the new computer parts (for 1 year+) My school is so poor, the main building is from 1251, the "new" building is from 1835 and it uses about 1/3 of a school nearby to put in the higher graders because no room left. My school is so poor, our buses which take us to the gym halls (in-city school, not much space^^) have all at least 1 million KM driven, each. My school is so poor, **get's electrocuted to death by Mehdi because he be mad gangster** D:
+ulas742 A school in Bavaria, Germany xD To say the least, because the building is practically an old ass thing, the people inside can focus on each other more, therefore having actually a great community! The school has/had 1400 students, don't know how much right now^^ Classes 5-12 are in this type of school (Gymnasium, 5-9 "you have to" year 10 "good education level" year 11-12 is, i think, like high school
Yes - that is way better than burning fingers on trying to find a hot component. Also would be amazing for exploring relative temperature and thermal energy output with kids - letting them visualise it will make it much clearer to them.
Great timing of this video! I recently had my home inspected and the inspector had a Flir thermal camera. Lets just say the inspection went about 30 minutes longer than it should have because the guy was nice enough to let me run around the place with his camera. SO COOOOOOOL!!! Now I just need to save up the $5,000 for one...
you read my mind with your heat seeing devices. I have been thinking of getting one to find out where the insulation has collapsed in my old home to minimize damage to the walls when I try and re insulate this summer (Winnipeg so no go in the winter). great looking product and as always, you make it fun and entertaining.
I like Seek Thermal because they give away a lot of their cameras to RU-vid. But I prefer Flir One because they include a second "normal vision" camera on their device which syncs up with the thermal image to give you a very clear image. Also the Seek is quite laggy compared to the Flir One.
This guy fkn makes me laugh. Thank You sir for the amusement. You would be a great electronics teacher. You and people like you are why I love youtube. Keep up the great work!!
Like your video! I often use Infiray P2 Pro thermal camera to identify areas of heat loss or insulation problems in buildings, as well as to detect leaks in plumbing systems. It's a versatile and useful tool for detecting and visualizing temperature differences, and the applications span a wide range of industries and fields.
Nice demo, thanks. I had been eyeballing these for looking for wildlife (or sasquatch!) at night in the woods. I wasn't sure the range would be far enough to be useful though. Looked like you were getting pretty outdoor range with it though. Now I want one for sure :>
ok i know this is 8yrs old but i didnt expect this to be so entertaining LOL. i just got an infared camera to test out, this was my first introduction to any research about them. thanks for the laughs! and the valuable info
Or stop being so clingy and give her some space. Or stop whining and leave her alone and find someone who loves you. Or just appreciate the good things about her. Can you give an example of her ice-cold heart?
2:06 "I put a random resistor network together connected to the supply and we can see which RESISTOR wastes more power" 2:21 "It is a... ...capacitor?!" *KSSSSS* "S**T!"
I know you probably already gave one away. But we'd LOVE one! We have an animal education business and some of our animals ARE snakes with heat pits (pythons). We'd like to get one to show kids what snakes see! We would do this in combination with our live animal shows at schools, libraries, parties, etc. Thanks for sharing!!! I'm looking at getting one.
I just had to leave my job as a Fiber Optics Tech, have been borderline depressed all week. Was looking into getting a new gadget to maybe cheer me up. This is the first video by this channel I ever saw. 2:00, and the explosion at 4:10 had me laughing so hard, definitely brightened my day!
2:22 - It was inevitable something in that arrangement would explode - after all, this is an ElectroBoom video - but its also the entertainment value of video, and even tho I knew it was going to happen, I got my reward for watch this video with a startled reaction followed a by childish giggle
i agree, that's an infomertial, but what, i think it's cool and inovative and should be financed so in the future i can buy this by a 10th or less of the price, even if i don't buy anything someone may have aggregated more value to the world, people will get more jobs and you're using your money to finance someone that will use it to inovate much more, bringing everyone more value. The guy working at engineering at this enterprise can then afford a masters or doctorate, then he develop something that help your life, like a 3d printed heart that saves lives. Can you imagine who would be Albert Einstein if it wasn't for that first job at a patent office...
infomertials are not the problem, that's an ethic issue. The problem is that for a critical person that knows how to debunk you can use whatever infomertial you want, if it's bad the critics will know, but a dumb person will take the first opinion it's given and ignore the fuck out of other arguments, like if they're defending an ideological team.
I only heard of these cameras from your video. I just ordered the Seek Compact XR and got a discount of $29.90. Looking forward to having some fun with it as well as some practical uses.
