The M2EA camera does have the same specs as the H20T according to DJI. You can do mapping missions with the M2EA thermal camera, however, you won't be able to get radiometric data as we have tested the conversion process on the images and it does not work.

@@zanewhite1355 sorry but I've been trying to find windows in current windy conditions. So I rented a m300 with a h2o thermal camera. So that means I only have one "camera/gimbal on the matrice 300. I know your going to laugh but I use dji ground station with wookong M and a futaba radio. I have also used datumate and datufly for mission planning for my inspire 1 pros. This is my first time using DJI Pilot and while I'm in the dji pilot app it offers me the three types of missions and although I'm just dealing with thermal images I can't find where to configure my camera angle...I would like for thermal to be pointed downward -90 degrees just like I would be doing a RGB do you know what I mean? I couldn't find where to change that and the other question is what software am I using to create thermal reports?

@@falconvisionuav Not to worry! For 90° downward facing imagery, you will likely want to create a 'mapping' mission in DJI Pilot, and then outline your flight path according to the area that you would like to image. With regards to observing your thermal reports, DJI has a Thermal Analysis tool that will let you observe your imagery in more detail. However, to create an ortho from those thermal R-JPGs, you will have to use a tool to convert them to .tiff. At the moment, there are no easy processes to do this, and we have had to create a script to get this done. Please send us an email and I can help get that set up for you if you'd like!

Yes please..I'm trying to finish last mission...very windy and just waiting to get wind speeds down..I've been using the dji thermal tool but so far I'm not confident that it's enough to do what I need. I have an idea of creating DTM From thermals and change the color scheme to match..it might look close enough for me to label once I get images in correct location...I can see it in my head just don't know if civil3d can do it. How do I get in touch with you?
