This video was very helpful in me being able to pick out my first thermal scope. Had some great information. Thank you!! If you're wondering I picked the ATN Thor 5 LRF 2-16x I also got the ATN Odin LT 320 monocular because there was a package deal. Thank you again!
Yes, DNA. Although also introduced to Australia with immigration of the original humans, dingoes are now considered native animals. Wild dogs have a mixture of domestic dog and dingo, and the closer to larger population areas are simply feral domestic dogs. Wild dogs can look and behave almost identical to dingoes, and that is why conservationists now consider them the replacement for the role dingoes play in the environment. Whether they are pure DNA dingoes or not, they still play a role in reducing the number of other invasive species like feral cats and rabbits. Farmers don't care, they all attack sheep and cattle.
Thanks for your video. I recently purchase the Night Tech MS30 which was on sale and plan to use it mainly for culling pigs out of cotton and wheat crops. What is the practical range with the MS30 with a the 308? I saw on Night techs website that the MS30 have picture in picture, does this help in anyway on the longest of shots? What batteries do you run or do you use an external power pack? Regards Mark
Hi Mark, I would say a practical range would be out to about 150m and I didn't find the PiP to be helpful really, just zoom up one level. You will find that the zoom is only useful up about one level, after that you start to only see a blob. However, if you have already identified it correctly, you can still shoot the centre of a blob. I use both rechargable and non-rechargable batteries. Look on ebay for Panasonic CR123s, a lot cheaper.
