I’ve made this bread a few times now. Dough is sticky as can be but the bread turns out exactly like shown. It really is delicious.

Just a tip: if you actually remove the bottom of the bowl, the bread and blade will fall out quicker and easier. Also, just give the bowl a quick spritz with oil before leaving it to rise and that will also help the bread slide out.

Using a serrated blade will make it much easier to make a slice in the top of the bread. The reason you slit the bread is to break the tension on the top, which allows the bread to rise up rather than maybe blowing out the side of the loaf.

I tried the bread recipe twice and both times it failed…..it was flat and sloppy to a degree…..im wondering about the instant yeast of 1 teaspoon….that wouldnt be enough would it? I’m a traditional bread maker and can’t believe this has failed dismally😢 What have i done wrong?

I'm glad it worked out! Yes, the dough comes up reaaaaally sticky and looks flat, but after a few minutes in the oven you see it rising and it's beautiful! ;) Thank you for your comments again! :))))

Hi! Thank you!! I know a lot about Thermomix but... very little about cooking (I'm a very dummy cook 😅) so... I looked up the answer if that's OK with you 😁(I usually eat the bread I make so I have never frozen it myself). Google search I: Does freezing a loaf of bread make it last longer?: When you store bread at room temperature, it typically lasts three to five days. Frozen bread often lasts up to three months before freezer burn sets in. Google search II: Can you freeze fresh homemade bread?: Most breads freeze very well with little to no loss in quality or texture. The enemy is freezer air, which can cause freezer burn and impart freezer-aroma flavors. To prevent this, wrap each loaf tightly in two layers of plastic wrap before placing it in a large resealable freezer bag.

Technically you do have to include the other times as well. So in fact it’s more than 10 minutes.

I was just timing when "I show up" ;) obviously I need to be around the house while it's baking... and I need to put away the ingredients or things like that... but, yes, it's just a way to say that even though making bread can take 3 hours total, the time you are involved is minimal :) thank you for watching!!

Sorry! I forgot to add that Thermomix screen to the video: 25-35 minutes (250°C / 482°F). Preheated, yes. In the video I said 20-25 minutes but I was wrong, it's more like 30-35 minutes. My German friend does the German version of this recipe and she says it's longer so now... I leave it for about 40 minutes :)

The recipe says "25-35 minutes (250°C)" so please leave it longer :) I meant to say 25-30 :))
