It annoys me how they *love* Dungeon Duos - which is mostly button-mashing and has a luck-based part near the end - yet in Mario Party 5 they complain incessantly about all the button-mashing and luck-based mini-games...
In their defense, it's one minigame compared to being a large portion of the mini game pool, there's a degree of process of elimination or otherwise attention required for the platforms and the pipes (knock out the ones you pop out of too), and the button mashing takes some degree of attention for the platforms and the Balloon. Winning the games isn't entirely determined by who can push the button the most times in the time frame. And maybe it's me, but Dungeon Duos just looks more visually pleasing than a lot of the Mashing game settings in MP5.
It's got a mix of button mash, button holding, & a bit of luck zone, that's set up in a way that involves teamwork & is setup to make it anyone's game in any of the stages outside of the final mash of L & R
Okay here`s the scenario. Jon steals the star from anyone Wario will steal a star from Jon ! Jon steals coins from Emile Wario will still steal a star from Jon ! Jon steals coins from Wario Wario will steals coins back from Jon ! If Jon refuses like just now Wario will steal a star from Emile !
