Funny story, my homie told me that his dad was going to remodel Thes One’s kitchen and had met Thes. His dad comes back home and asks my homie “Do you know a rapper named People Underneath the Stairs?” Lol He totally butchered the duo’s name. PUS, has been one my favorite rap duos of all time. It’s always pleasant to slap California hip hop that isn’t always about gangsta shit. I fuck with Mac Dre and Nickatina hard but PUS was always some smooth stoner shit. Big ups to Thes, and I’m glad that I saw them both at Hiero Day. Shit like this makes me a student of hip hop.

My favorite producer of all time! His contribution to American music is so understated, a true national treasure.

well good to see he did make some more hip hop and rapping again! side note his opinions on analog gear/wax is debatable i see what he is saying but id love to go toe to toe with him on that topic haha i know hes still using tube compressors analog synths, tape delays etc and all that so to some degree hes a kind of a hyprocrite IMO no disrespect though hes one of the GOATs! about the growing up as a kid bedroom shit 10000%% im not debating that
