Doubt its possible without mods, since you need to get halfway through the game to even recruit him, and since he's not a Demon, he can't be fused, saved in the compendium, or carried over in NG+.

You can do it on the HD remaster on any console I believe, it's just easiest on PC. At the very least, I've done it without the mouse on PC before. If I recall correctly, sometimes when you select the Dismiss option in the party menu, a demon in the stock will be highlighted for some reason. Press the same button sequence explained in the video and it should still work.

The main method of initiating the glitch by dismissing Demi-fiend uses the PC mouse, so it's not possible on console. I later found another way to do the glitch without the PC mouse and I asked a few people to test it on different versions but they all told me it didn't work when they tried it. So the answer is probably no, the glitches don't work on console. Look at the "Alternate Dismiss Demi-fiend Method" in the pastebin if you want to give it a try yourself.

No. The initial step where you dismiss Demi-fiend from the active party uses the PC mouse briefly to get the cursor in the stock. Console can't do that part. Actually, I did later find another way to dismiss Demi-fiend without using the mouse (it's mentioned in the glitches pastebin) but for some reason it also doesn't work on any other version except PC.

Once menu storage was discovered, everything else was very intentional, I'm sure. People know how to abuse broken glitches like this.

​ @jerry3115 Hmm I wouldn't say super intentional, and also not super galaxy brained. Most of the finds were just trial and error in different places. Like "what happens when I do this menu thing (load, suspend, items, changing party, etc.) in this location (in a room, in a cutscene, in a battle, in a boss battle, etc.)". 90% of the time the answer is "the game softlocks" but sometimes it does something else and the result isn't always intuitive. Like, is there any good reason to think that collision would be disabled during cutscenes - and that we could use this to clip out-of-bounds anywhere if we can find a way to move during cutscenes? Not really. Is there any logic to why loading a savefile in battle immediately uses Auto and the Auto command it uses doesn't get "filtered" into Attack like it should but lets you run away? Not really - I don't understand really why it does that. So it was kind of just aimless bumbling around to find that kind of thing. Auto Memory Storage in particular was a lucky find. Totally an accident and if I had been messing around with Auto Memory set off in the Config it might never have been found and we wouldn't have a way to run away from Lucifer and stuff. In a similar manner, the debug objects mentioned in the video were a completely random discovery when I was aimlessly bumbling around out-of-bounds in different areas. I don't think it was known to anyone beforehand that those objects are littered about just out of reach. With that unintuitive nature of these glitches in mind, I'm very glad Deus was able to succinctly describe the glitches in a digestible way here. Because I think there are almost certainly still new things that can be done with some of these glitches that we haven't found yet. And all we need is more eyes thinking about trying something in new spots we didn't think about trying. So hopefully the video inspires some people to just mess around with it a little for fun and see what happens :)

As much as I want to like Raidou, his games kinda suck. I wish we could have remakes with better controls. The closest we have is P5S and it proves that this game formula works really well.

Hmm ? Why ? This is a topic that most have never heard about and it's very fascinating to me. If there are more interesting facts and glitches about the Megaten games I definitely want to cover them in future videos. It also gives me something interesting that I can upload in-between my bigger projects.

@@Doos Reasons why I don't like them. *Disclaimer: It's a personal opinion and I don't want you to feel threatend or forced down a road. It's your channel!* 1.) It's breaking the game, I see why speedrunner do this (even though I don't like it). But what I like on your channel, is the crazy challanges instead of the abuse of gamebreaking mechanics. An example for my point: Demifiend only vs Lucifer I was suffering with you and cheering for you. You found a weakpoint in the mechanics of the boss. Glitching is trying to avoid content by breaking the game. 1.5.) It's trivializing the game (e.g. running away from Lucifer) instead of embracing the challange of the game 2.) Last video was very reptitive, with doing the same glitches to trivialize the game over and over again --> Makes it boring for me to watch 3.) It's going against the intentions of the creators. I'm all for mods to improve a game, but this just skips through sections and mechanics. (similar to point 1.5 ) 4.) While the concept might be interesting (understanding the bugs and glitches), the execution is not as interesting. To beat the player can fail, the player can learn new things. All I see in a Glitch video is how you go around a mechanics instead of through it. 5.) It's less helpful and people learn less. If someone struggles with a boss fight they can see hardcore challanges and understand a lot about the game, they want to beat. If they see a glitch video, they only see how to skip it (e.g. Mot) I don't say it requires less skill, or is easier to create and I do see that if you want to be THE SMT channel, glitches can be part of content too. But I don't think it's high quality content

If you've watched both videos (no demi-fiend & this one), then you should know that I refrained from using the game breaking glitches to trivialize boss fights. I could've done all that stuff but didn't because that was important to preserve. In a 2nd run where I go through a game I've already showcased, navigating through the world isn't new. I've already beaten these puzzles in a previous video, they will not change. With the glitches I show something new that the majority of players haven't seen before. That video to me is the best of both worlds: I keep the challenge of boss fights while showing cool glitches. If such an opportunnity comes in the future, I will not refrain from doing it again. Also, I would like to say that "going against the intentions of the creators" is the least of my concerns. Similarly to glitches, modding the game to make it behave differently also goes against the vision of the creators. Just like you dislike glitches, some people dislike modding and I've seen such comments under my videos. Will I stop using mods because of those people ? No, I won't. I won't because modding creates unique scenario that people haven't seen, scenarios that are different from the intended experience and that has a ton of value on RU-vid. So yeah, we will have to agree to disagree. I'll keep doing what I think is best for my channel to grow. If that's something you don't like, then that's okay ! You are free to stop watching the videos you don't want to watch. There is no legally binding agreement between us.
