i feel like 70% of upscaled icons would equate to 'oh there's a dude in there'. anyway my favourite one of these is Chain Lightning, cos its actually a troll hand doing 'the shocker'. which makes sense cos its firing lightning and baseline chain lightning hits 3 targets

As a warrior main for nearly 20 years, I NEVER understood what Recklessness was. That's literally dope as hell. The rest of these I kinda knew by blowing them up myself once; they're hard to tell what they are but even blown up I still couldn't really decipher Recklessness. I see it now and that's BADASS.

i was pretty proud for intuiting most of these correctly but i had a few wrong: smite i also thought was just an orange light with lines i always thought lust was a dragon or snakes tail lol i thought disarm was a sword with a broken handguard and i thought blink was kinda like one of those telescope pictures of a nebula in space, with a bright star on it

The fact that I got Avenging Wrath correct is amazing considering I've played paladin 1 time in my 16 years of playing this game

I had to look at reck for a while until I saw it. Sort of reminds me of rend. Whirlwind always looked like a weird flag to me til I realized it's a twirling sword.

The pet passive icon, also used for debuffs in the game, but I always though it was a white ghost face with an open mouth and bucktooth. It's actually a seal

Some skills in the list changed over the time for example Heroic leap was a reseter in cata for warrior i think for a skill not a leap or time warp was teleporting you back to the location afther 5-6 sec where the spell was casted

Ok, now, I thought recklessness has always been some sort of crasfish ("European crayfish boiled" just google it like that and see the images tab). Jesus, I never could've thought it was a sword.

I feel weird cause its the warrior icons that caught me offguard lol. I guess the earlier you started playing a class the more you didn't question the images themselves...

When I was younger i always thought that the corruption is like a guy in a red cloak. I'm not native to English so I thought yeea its a guy who is spreading corruption (I got to translate in school :D) There are more like that, because when I started playing I was quite little and watched my brother play most of the time, and on the old 4:3 screen you could see nothing how small it was :D Smite for example too, I thought it was just some light ray. Heroic leap was a guy screaming, disarm was like axe, just like you say in the video, never saw the sword and hand there :D There are more icons like that. Nice video ;)
