I don't believe the intent was that a lot. Do not assume the worst about people so abruptly. What the person meant by the comment was that these people (reverts) are true in their faith because they are not blindly following the deen. Instead, they have lead a life that was void of Islam and now know the value of Islam. Then they (the person who commented) stated that a lot of Muslims are ignorant in their religion, which is beyond true. So if Hitler fasted in the month of Ramadan - His previous sins would have been forgiven.

Why did Mohammad not believe in this - When asked he was not sure where he would go. Abu Bakr too why was he not assured with Mohammad's words. it was heard him saying that even if he had one foot in paradise he would not trust Allah to get him to heaven.

Why is this hadith contrary to Surah 19: 71 of the quran which says every muslim will got to hell.
