I suggest you offset your real estate and get into stocks, A recession as bad it can be, provides good buying opportunities in the markets if you’re careful and it can also create volatility giving great short time buy and sell opportunities too. This is not financial advise but get buying, cash isn’t king at all in this time!

One strategy for protecting against a recession is to buy equities. Investors, especially during a recession, need to know where and how to put money in order to make money while avoiding inflation.

Here is another tidbit of information. I work at a facility that stamps aluminum/steel hoods, frames, doors, and parts for cars using forming dies. Recently we had a meeting about how business is going to slow down. Everyone else is saying we might get laid off, etc, etc. Right now, the information in the video and what I'm seeing with my own two eyes are lining up. I might have to act accordingly

I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. The pathway to substantial returns doesn't solely rely on stocks with significant movements. Instead, it revolves around effectively managing risk relative to reward. By appropriately sizing your positions and capitalizing on your advantage repeatedly, you can progressively work towards achieving your financial goals. This principle applies across various investment approaches, whether it be long-term investing or day trading.

I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

Unlike any time before, a drove of people refinanced their homes that then 2x in value. This unlocked 100’s of billions of dollars for homeowners to spend while at the same time rent increased 25-40% causing the renters of the nation to experience a recession. All this because we didn’t let the free market be free, shame.
@firefalcoln

Most homes didn’t double in price since the rate cuts. Not everyone refinanced. And those that did, didn’t all necessarily get a HELOC and go on a spending spree to the point where now they’ll have nothing if their home doesn’t continue to go up in value at the same rate that was experienced from 2020-2022. In reality over 90% of home owners don’t borrow against their home.

We got a rolling recession were the banking and tech sectors were hit first and recently the retail/auto sector has been hit. But as the retail/auto sector declined the tech sector recovered. This recession is most likely the result of an external factor. For the first time in decades, the United States is losing its clout as a federal reserve currency. They all lend support to the idea that a new multilateral world order is in the works.

I foresee a recession lasting 2-3 years, and if inflation continues to surge, the Federal Reserve will likely raise interest rates soon. Inflation is causing various issues worldwide, such as food shortages, scarcities of diesel and heating fuel, and significant spikes in housing prices, leading to a potential financial market crash. This global downturn could have long-lasting repercussions. Government expenditures (including the new bloom in interest payments) should not be discounted/avoided. Debt is the root cause of climate change. Governments expenditures are more than 100% of the rest of the equation. At some point, currency no longer matters. Just authority. Not usually now freedom makes money.

The crystal ball says a recession lies in your future. I actually feel bad for this guy and everyone else who understands the historical data. Joe, Jerome and Janet made all of history irrelevant with their magic money printer.

bottom line: America is fu**ed. Money printer will soon be activated again and create an illusion of wealth until real economics hit again, harder than the previous incident. Geopolitical crisises will try to cover and hide the monster under the bed. Maybe one last huraay then we have a serious global debt problem. Looking back into history, those do not end well...

It surprises me why everybody gets really worked up about recession and inflation data. Inflation has always existed, and people have been using investments to beat the inflation. The stock market return, for example, always beats inflation. I heard of someone who invested $121k last October, and has grown the portfolio by more than $400k. I need recommendations that can give me similar return.

I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $124k passively by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Inflation or no inflation, my finances remain secure. So I really don't blame people who panic.
@hersdera
@hersdera 20 дней назад
True. I first came across investing in the market in 2019. Already stashed about $480k in savings then, and the free money from the Government was pouring in, increasing inflation rate. I just got an advisor and kept the money there, just because I didn't want to keep the value of the money depreciating in the bank. Tbh, it's the best investment decision I've made since then.

The most important thing that should be on everyone mind currently should be to invest in different sources of income that doesn't depend on the government. Especially with the current economic crisis around the word. This is still a good time to invest in various stocks, Gold, silver and digital currencies

The key to big returns is not big moving stocks. It's managing risk in relationship to reward. Having the correct size on and turning your edge as many times as necessary to reach your goal. That holds true from long term investing to day trading.

Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others, as an investor, you should’ve known that by now, nothing beats experience and that’s final, personally I had to reach out to a market analyst for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to a million, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I’m buying again

I doubt that the recovery of transportation investment is a bounce back of overly pessimistic prediction for cross-border economic activity due to pandemic. It doesn’t necessarily have good implications on current economic conditions due to this exogenous demand shock.

Yes, the dangers are greater, but isn't the current business sector just as risky? The majority of those adopting these tactics are earning substantial gains. What I gather is that rather than long-term trading, instantaneous trading is the preferred method for managing this downturn and rapid expansion.
@bennett221
@bennett221 13 дней назад
I believe that short-term trading, as opposed to long-term trading, is the best strategy for surviving the current recession and high inflation. Isn't the current market dangerous as well, despite the increased risks involved? Most people who use these strategies achieve significant financial success.

Because their entire philosophy is built around employing a high-profit oriented plan while simultaneously trading long and short, as well as decreasing risk exposure as a hedge against inevitable downtrends, I've been consulting an investment coach before making any investment decisions ever since the outbreak of 2020, which had a significant impact on the market. Under performance is almost unthinkable when combined with their access to strange data and analysis.

The sad part of the research you put out is that it assumes we live in a world where market forces will force expected outcomes. When one controls the price of capital, none of this really matters in the end. This the fundamental flaw you still are refusing to acknowledge. Maybe intentionally, cause otherwise you won't have anything to sell. 🤔

There's a ton of indicators and they give mixed signals all the time. I am nearly in the "recession cancelled" camp simply due to how many people are waiting for a crash. There's trillions of dollars on the sidelines still and many CTAs just got back into the market today. Definitely keeping an eye on the market, but the long anticipated downturn doesn't seem to be here yet

Everyone with even a modest understanding of the business cycle knew that it was all rolling over/unwinding in late 2019. That's why they did Covid, to throw the cycle off and make sure everyone got whipsawed around. There was no way they were going to give the little guy a layup.
