A bit late, but heres a few horror games where it isn’t at intense; 1. The Baby in Yellow. Essentially, you’re a babysitter looking over a baby that you later find out is more than you’d ever expect. It definitely has some genuine scares, but there are modes where it can make it less scary and can add humor to it (like you can make the babys head big, and what have you). Its a great game that has very clear direction and is very well designed, visually and game wise. 2. The Man from the Window. In my opinion, it’s definitely scarier than The Baby in Yellow, but it focuses more on puzzle solving than its scares. Its also a much shorter game than TBiY and it doesn’t have loud jumpscares like these Roblox games did. It also has some weird and kinda funny character designs that’d definitely lift the mood. 3. The No-Snake Hotel. This game doesn’t have much jumpscares and MUCH shorter than the previous games mentioned. Its around 20 minutes long, for why this is very short is because it was part of a Game Jam where the challenge was to make a game under 24 hours. For a game that was made under a DAY, its very good. Has a lot of detail, is very clean and somewhat humorous notes that will make you forget its even a horror game. Its definitely worth the play.
