We'd often recommend finding your 'niche', meaning you become specialised in one area and this also means you work with clients who align with your passion.. If you love the outdoors and adventure, then working for companies who do outdoor and adventure could make sure you stay passionate about that work! However, offering multiple services is possible, and this could be more of a 'studio' approach. Let me know your thoughts there and if you have any other questions!
Thanks for this! It's all great and valuable information. I would say though, in the "Levelling up your pricing" section, it would have been cool to have the positive and negative factors for all choices. For example, For Motion work over here in the UK, getting a 'project rate' is pretty rare at for most freelances. So, while it's great to have the flexibility to do the work faster and be paid that flat rate for the project, only those well established Art Director types (like Chris Do) will likely encounter this.
