What I don't understand is simply this. 2005 Gaza voted in Hamas. Since then up till now Hamas has ruled, the people have been denied a democracy and Gaza is a dictatorship. In that sense the people of Gaza are no longer refugees. In that time, Hamas, with the billions of dollars on aid could have made each and every gaza citizen a millionaire and created anothe Dubai, built magnificent 1st world facilities to rival none, had an economy that could place as number one on the map, had budding entrepreneurs and ensured the independence from everybody by introducing nuclear powerstations, water desalination plants and education facilities for future generations. Instead it was turned into a barren place and the only means of survival was to follow an ideology of death. This isn't about land, this is about breeding the next generation of psychopaths. As for the atgrocities. Gaza (Hamas) attacked Israel, a democracy surrounded by dictatorships and in particular a radical islamic religion bent on the destruction of every Jew in Israel. Despite everything that it has had thrown at it, Israel survives and not only that, thrives. It is ridiculous that Israel, after all that has happened and the 7th October 2023, is being held to standards that not one country in this world could possibly adhere to and hasn't up to present. Neither Russia, America, Europe or Africa can say that they can adhere to the ridiculous narrative that is being spouted. In case anybody has forgotten, This is war. In war civilians are casualties. Never in the history of wars has there never been civilian casualties. If and when if ever, this goes to the ICC, it will be found that Israel behaved correctly according and even better than the biggest countries of this world. Yes it is sad and brutal that so many civilians have died. My question is this, I haven't seen or heard of the stats on Hamas soldiers that have died. In fact my thoughts are that this has been deliberately left out of the equation. To state that Gaza has suffered under occupation for 75 years is a lie.
