That same guy thing happened to me but the box was Panini Draft picks and the guy was CJ Stroud. Couldn't get any luckier if I tried. Got a silver BYoung variation and a JAddison shimmer 3 of 49 in the box as well. Was a mega gold box

That’s the only bad thing about prizm. It’s like a 400-500 card checklist compared to other sets that’s usually 250 cards. But it is PRIZM so 🔥😂

i would definitely take 16 megas over a hobby. a couple pulsar or silver stroud / richardson, and possibly an auto (obviously not guaranteed like hobby). I think youd come away with more.

Sage, thoughts on when to grade vs keep raw? I noticed you said you’re selling some of the CJ Strouds but send some others off to PSA. At what point do you think it’s worth doing value-wise?

Lot to unpack here but yes I have a ton of thoughts on this. First it starts with how confident you are on a 10. Second it starts with researching raw sales vs PSA 10 sales and seeing the difference. Then you investigate the grading fee. It becomes a math problem. Then if the math works out you need to think about timing… are we in season , out of season. Are you flipping or holding. Etc . For this specific example…
