Great video as usual ❤. I have similar patterns to yours in my favorites that I want to make. So many plans with little time😅, good thing we can make them whenever and it doesn’t all have to happen this summer/spring. I’m sorry about your wrist, hopefully it gets better soon. I’ve been dealing with pain in my right shoulder and left wrist. I realized knitting English style exacerbated the shoulder pain so I switched to continental. And for my wrist pain I wear a brace when knitting and a restrictive one at night to help.

Ah thank you so much, I’m so happy you’re enjoying them! ❤️ and absolutely! Same as with that I want to keep winter knitting during the summer, I’d also like to keep summer knitting during other time of the year. And thank you, it’s just so frustrating when your body doesn’t want to work with you especially if it’s with a hobby that helps me relax. I’m happy to hear you found some things that help you and limit pain ❤️

Hey Fem, I also have pain in my wrists and hand while knitting (too much) sadly, so you are not alone! for the last year and a half I had not knitted at all.. even picking up my phone was too hard :( Now it's much better and I can knit bit by bit now, but yeah it is really frustrating so just wanted to tell you because it's not weird at all! Even some older ladies in the train told be before I got that, that I should be careful with knitting too much ;)🥰

Oh my I can imagine that has been really hard ❤️❤️❤️ I hope it will stay away now. It’s definitely a good reminder to not keep going when it’s starting to hurt. Thank you for sharing your story with me ❤️

Als je opzoek bent naar een beetje advanced colourwork dan zou ik zeker het werk van unwind knitwear aanraden. Ik testknit voor haar en heb al vele truien gemaakt op die manier!

Hi Fem, safe to say you have some plans haha We all tend to have more ideas than what we can actually make, but that's okay it's all part of the creative process if you ask me🤣 As for the colorwork sweaters, I know the Crea Bea has some beautiful ones, just like the Ruhe Sweater and the Kerr Sweater, that aren't your typical circular yoke colourwork sweater but they are beautiful! maybe check them out🥰 And this spring-summer I already made a tee, the Peacock tee, and I'm now working on a stripey Vegas top with the yarn that was leftover from the tee. Then I have yarn to make the Tee of Dreams by perfectly Knotted, the Desert Bloom Top by Rachel Kurihara and also for a Ranunculus! We'll see which of them will be completed😅

Haha I do right but you have many great plans too 🤩 I looove the look of the peacock tee, it’s definitely still on my to knit list. I also looked up the others and I love your style 😉 for the colorwork I haven’t been the biggest fan of those two in specific. Maybe I don’t really know what kind of colorwork I like hahah but they are great tips and inspo so thank you 🥰❤️

I was just talking about pain from crocheting at my knit group today. I don’t get it knitting but crochet and Tunisian crochet give me pain on the top of my left hand. I’m working on two tees right now, the Rift and a test knit

It’s so frustrating right when you can’t just do you hobby/craft like you would like. I hope you pains won’t be too limiting you in what you’re able to do. Your works sound really fun, enjoy 😄❤️

I commiserate with your wrist problems! I'm having problems with my wrist, too, and I haven't been knitting for some weeks. I've seen an orthopedist who diagnosed de Quervains, and he's given me a shot of cortisone, but it only helped for a couple days. I am VERY interested in your linen blend yarn!

I’m so sorry to hear that. I just looked it up and it sound pretty uncomfortable, I hope there will be a way to ease the pain for you. And thank you! I cannot wait to dye it up, it will be a very nice summer base

I wonder if you could change the way you knit to spare your wrist? I have a hard time with the continental style because it kills my right wrist, although I know there are ways to do it without moving your wrist too much. I'm an English-style flicker, and I try to keep my wrists as still as possible.

Thank you so much for thinking with me. I’ve tried different ways of knitting hoping it would help but continental definitely comes most naturally for me. For me my left wrist acts up and when I try English knitting my right hand will cramp up too much haha. But I try to switch them up sometimes ❤️
