Something I really appreciate about your reviews is that you put in the extra work to actually use the products, and can tell us the ins and outs. So many other reviewers do a glorified unboxing and explain the features, without any real usage. I personally HATE leakage so to hear that these vapes hold up well in that regard is music to me.
Thank you and yes... real world use matters, day to day use matters. Not much can be learned about a pod from unboxing it in your office, using it once and saying "it's great" lol.
I'll be getting the P2 for sure. I still like the last version of the Argus except for the battery life. This looks like it fixed that issue. Nice review Nick!
I got my Argus P2 just about 3 weeks ago and I'm using the 0.7 pod at 16 watts, I'm at 967 puffs and the flavor is still just as good as day 1. This little guy is quickly becoming my favorite pod and is about to dethrone the Caliburn G3 as such, great review Nick.
You an Mike vapes are the only two I watch now these days you are by far the best for years thanks. Ps I’ve been looking at this for a while I’m a Mtl nic salts vaper what coils are better like higher ohms do they have any
5 digits is kind of pretentious of the gene AL but i like the fill port on the side: it's not crack to fill but at least i wouldn't have to remove the pod. love the animations too! editing guy FTW. great video, missed you!
Thanks for the review. I was once subscribed to you before and now I want to get back in getting newer vape products. I also fell out the boat and went back to smoking (peer pressure).
I’am using Argus p2 for 5 months and this thing is beast 🔥 now i want to burn the coil but O M G this thing is very very VERY GOOOOOD Im at 5000 puf on single coil and stil it hits hard and flavour is still soooo much rich no leaking no grugling sooo goood !!! it should get hall of fame for sure 🥶🔥
I've been loving the Argus pods 0.7ohm since I came across it last year. Can't stop using the P1 as it's perfect! Second place is the Argus P1S, great stick but just wish I could turn off the colorful LED. Got both the P2 and G2 arriving in the morning and I can't wait. 🚀 Great review, thanks Grimm.
Hi from UK land. I just switched from death sticks to a P2 a week ago sadly we can only get 2ml pods here because ?????? UK. But its the best thing ive ever done. This is my first toe dip into the vaping world and frankly I can't see myself going back to shitty cigarettes. Im lovin Elfbull ice at the moment I just can't put it down. Sitting in my room making nice smelling clouds it rocks. I never used to smoke indoors because it stank and the whole nicotine stain thing so the vape is not just a new experience for me but new and awesome.
Have a vaporesso xros pro. Love it and the pods are amazing. Got a Argus g2 and have to say I love it just as much if not more just bcuz the screen is gorgeous. At this point it’s all personal preference bcuz most of these devices are top tier with wonderful pods.
These are both great pods. I have both and the new coils are great and last a long time. Long enough for me to think when are these pods going to die. The only con is the silver ARGUS emblem. The silver lettering will rub off. But it still looks fine.
@@ehsannooshinbade8118 so I had the xros 3 and loved it, I got the pro in January but it stopped working, button kept firing on its own. I didn’t like the 0.4 anyway because it accentuates any ice/menthol to the point of overbearing for my tastes and I vape nasty juice which only has a small cooling effect so I went and got the GK3 few months ago and loved it but last week I upgraded to the Xros 4 full size, paired with a 0.6/0.8 it’s absolutely sublime and I reccomened it over any pod system at the moment and I’ve tried a lot of them. If you love ice and cooling effects, again it’s a no brainer, the new 0.4 pod vapes beautifully It’s just not for my tastes, but as for the 0.6/0.8 pods I notice a difference in airflow and vape quality over the old xros models. Hope that helps!
Grimm been watching your videos and vaping along side you since 2010! Looking good man. Been on disposables for the last few years and I’m just ready to move on. Torn between going back to a mod or getting another pod device. These seem legit might give one a whirl.
I’m new to pods used to use only disposable vapes and was wondering what e liquid I should be getting for the Argus p2 with the 0.7 and 0.4, I’m confused on the numbers. I read it was supposed to be using 70vg/30pg but also saw I should use 50/50. What’s the difference between salt nic and freebase? Also I see the most on sub ohm is 6mg nicotine I’m used to 50 mg disposable vapes does this affect anything?
50mg on disposable is salt one and use that for 0.7 but i dont recommend 50mg best 35mg after disposables or after smoking. 0.4 one i dont prefer they not good at salts they not good for direct lungs too
Which one do you like better? Now that some real life actual time has passed, I am curious to hear your thoughts? Anyone feel free to contribute, if you are feeling inclined to do so, for which I am appreciative. Thank You
Do you mind listing all your hall of fame pods? Im looking for a new device, im getting the puremax and 1 other one, whatever you say is good, I'll get it. Because all the vapes i own, I have gotten that way lool.
I recently got my g2 a few days ago, so far I really like it, only thing I don't like is the fire effect on the screen, I wish that could be turned off, but other than that it's great.
Voopoo has always been solid. I’m looking at grabbing one of these two once I get paid next. I still have my OG Drag, Mini, and 2 kicking around as well as a beat to heck Argus Pod system, and they are the only mods and Pod Kit I’ve actually had work well and last. I still haven’t found a good tank on a budget though. The Zeus Nano by Geekvape was a big disappointment and next I’m going to end up trying the UWell Whirl 2. I’ve stayed away from RTAs since the kiddos can’t keep their hands off my stuff. Good thing the Juice gets locked away but the rest I don’t have enough space for 😂
@@GrimmGreenDo you mind listing all your hall of fame pods? Im looking for a new device, im getting the puremax and 1 other one whatever you say is good ill get, cause all the vapes i have i have gotten that way lool.
Grabbed the G2, as my secondary unit to play with alongside my Caliburn G3. I love it, but it seems that pod length is certainly not up there with the G3. I've been getting dry hits at around the 1k mark, its not horrible and the pod is not dead, its just if it sits for an hour or longer... you get that initial dry hit. Maybe I am spoiled as the G3 was my first pod unit and its just such a dream to use.
That’s basically the video I’m looking for here as a caliburn guy. They need to just be accepted as the gold standard. Nothing comes close. Was going to give this one a shot because it can get boring with the same vape but these pods never die.
@@SilkandScroogehello, i have been using a G3 since new years ish and i cant understand hearing saying that the G3 pods are long lasting. What is the secret? What juice are you using? In my case they burn out very fast or the flavour starts to taste very weird and hints if burnt very quickly. I just put a new pod and already after ~800 puffs it starts to taste bad and gets very unpleasant to vape. I vape my Caliburn the least and yet i have bought the most pods for it. Please tell me the secret i am confused
@@marvin8938 do you use salt nic juice or freebase. I used salt nic that could be the difference. It also has adjustable airflow depending which way you have the pod in. I usually have it on the smaller hole.
@@SilkandScrooge i go with nic salt. 50/50. Usually use the more open airflow. Even if that could be the case lets say that the airflow is too much for the pod to handle, it feels like it should do more than 800 puffs before the cotton starts to get discoloured and the flavour getting unpleasant
Ive been a fan of the Argus pod series from the start.Someone was saying their pods only last a few days but its prob their only device and using high sucralose sweetener ejuice cuz mine last 3 weeks of heavy v@ping but i only use a half percent sweetener so most of my pods last me approx that long.I hated putting my Rta's down but i had to know if the pods were legit and they seem to be plus their comfy in the mouth.Either one, tho i prefer the tall one personally but very neat, intuitive pod systems.Looking forward to the xros 4 and 4 mini if your reviewing them.Thank you nick, still like my Wenax K2 and Wenax Q mini as the pods are cheap but good pods for the $ as are both systems.I dont mind side fill as long as they dont leak im fine with popping out to fill 🤙
I just bought the G2 do you think it's a good option for someone who just quit smoking one month ago and have moved away from disposables I've tried a smok that looks similar to the G2 and don't like it no flavor!. By the way I subscribed and really dig your videos they're really well thought out and you actually use the products well done and thanks Johnny
Would love to get your opinion if you prefer the G3 pods or these. I got the G3 based on your past review have had it for about 2 months and have loved it but lately the pods haven’t performed the same. I noticed they switched sides of the big and small airflow holes randomly, seems like such an odd thing to change suddenly, right ? Has anyone else noticed this? I have no idea why, but since this change at least for me the pods have felt much more harsh and haven’t lasted as long. I just hope nothing else about the coil was changed as well. If anyone knows anything about this please lmk. I just wish these Argus pods came higher than a 0.7, but would love to hear your thoughts on this compared to the G3. Also, look forward to another updated “best pod device” video those are great.
@@puffsalot-sy1pk about the airflow holes switching ? I’m hoping he replies but idk if he will. Did you notice the same thing on your G3 pods and have you felt they don’t hit the same ? Such a weird ass thing to randomly change right ? Im ngl ever since I’ve been getting pods with the new holes they just don’t taste the same for me. Im convinced they made other changes to the actual pod because b4 they were perfect and super flavorful. I know it’s a small change, maybe it’s just me but idk they don’t seem the same. I tried reaching out to Caliburn but emailing them is useless.
@@k-dott1223 as far as i know they made those top filled pods after side fills and side fills were working fine for me before i could try any other of their pod my device got lost
So I haven't noticed the change in the airflow holes on the G3 pods, but i'll keep an eye out. My G3 pods have been lasting so long that I haven't been going through them as quickly. Unfortunately vape companies in China like to change things, seemingly at random and not communicate it. Now these argus pods vape really good. I don't know if they are "better" than the G3, but they can certainly hold their own. I have the Argus G2 and the Caliburn G3 going basically side-by-side right now, so hopefully i'll have more answers when I do another pods ranked video... most likely in July.
@@GrimmGreen Thanks for the response. Yeah I’m assuming it’s just a change they decided to make randomly. Seems odd and I hope nothing else about the pods has been changed as well. I know it’s such a small thing but I would assume most ppl would notice. Sadly, at least for me since the changes been made, I feel like the pods aren’t performing as well for some reason, but maybe it’s just me. If you notice it on your pods, please let me know as well. Thanks.
@grimmgreen great review mate, always my go to guy for anything vape related. Even if I'm not looking to buy haha. Any chance on doing a review for the wenax k2?
Nick, hope you get to answer this, I've been vaping 12yrs now amd always been a mech but it can be a mission when going on holiday passing through security. So this year I'm going to buy a vape pen and I like the idea of no button. My question is what VG % can these coils handle and the pens that don't have adjustable wattage, what watts are they set at ?? Thanks for these videos. I'll now be going through all the pen vape ones 👍
Hey nick ive been using an xros pro daily and heavily since they were released and now it seems every pod gets slurpy, gurgley and considerably leaky. I wouldn’t want to even guess how many pods and puff the battery has gone through. Does feel premature for a battery to start acting up so severely :(
Can you use the p2 pods with the p1 mod? That might be a stupid thing to ask but I'm not a die hard vaper(I vape a lot but have no knowledge of the devices🤷♂️)
Hey grimm, ive been watching your vids FOR YEARS! Only vape reviewer i trust and consistently watch so i have a big favor to ask, if i can get you to respond and tell me which should i go for: Argus P2 Oxva Oneo/xvlim pro Vaporesso xros pro Geek vape Soul Uwell Dillon Dot mod nano switch Or puremax?
Can someone explain what this new pod/coil is called, or what pod it's replacing? as someone who has never dabbled with voopoo kits I'm confused as to what people are referring to as the "new" pods for these two devices... the voopoo website and online shops just call it an argus pod, and not v2 or anything... is this a new version of the coil? I understand if the 0.4 resistance is a new option that shipped in box with these two for the first time then I get it, but grimm and everyone is talking about the 0.7 etc. which already seemed to exist before this battery kit, no? i'm going crazy looking at things over and over to make sure im not just missing something obvious
@@rjw4la Looked it up, and it should ship there. Vapordna is better, imo. They have a lot on there that elementvape doesn't, n their customer service is great. I can literally text them. Like a real person, which I've never seen before.

Which would you say is better.. the P2 or the Oxva Xlim sq pro? I'm trying to decide between one of those 2 for my next one and its so hard to choose 😅
@@GrimmGreen Dude! I got the P2 yesterday! I really like it so far but apparently here in Canada I can't get the 3ml pods! All I could get were 2ml child resistant ones and I hate how you fill them! There a little switch on the side of them that makes the whole bottom of the pod turn sideways and underneath that is the rubber doohickey that you lift up to fill it and then the part that turned sideways is in the way of your juice bottle nozzle getting into the hole. The whole thing is a pain!
can someone help me please i dont understand. i have a .15 mod and 70vg/30pg juice and it burns the coils in like 2 days. i keep trying to look it up but some sources say use real low wattage others say to use real high wattage.
I've had just about all the argus' . I like the g's better. For coil life. Some reason they last longer. But I do like the p's form factor and fast charging. I wonder if they fixed the longevity on the p's. They say they are the same. But I assure you. They weren't lol.
Hey Grimm, I was wondering if you could tell me how many puffs you manage from these argus pods? I am getting around 1.3/1.5k puffs and then the flavors start to change. I don't know if you will see this or not. If not, anyone watching this video please help a fellow vaper!
@@GrimmGreen Thanks for the response brother. I had one more query if you don't mind. Will you please recommend me a good pod system device other than the G2? Aand I'm a huge fan and I learned all about vaping from you.
I hate gurgles im using xross proand its a garbage oxva xlim sq pro too they are good but gurgles meeehh i hate them can u guide me to buy non gurgle pod mod is this device a good choice or oxva pro 2
I hate gurgles too, and 100% of gurgles can be cleared. I’ll take my finger. I’ll put it on the pod and I’ll sort of flick it to the ground. This method is tried and true for me for clearing all gargles.
Anyone know how the battery life of the P2 compares to the P1? Obviously the P2 has the greater battery capacity, but it also has all that RGB and a screen to power, whereas the P1 has no screen, and only 4 white power indicator LEDs which only stay on for a fraction of a second after puffing or installing a tank. I have the P1 and love it, I love the low profile, tiny design. I love the battery life. I actually love the lanyard thing, I love how it's the least leaky vape I've ever owned, but man when I learned that they were making the same thing again but with actual custom wattage and everything, seems to me like it's THE perfect vape for someone like me who doesn't like truck-sized vapes. I gotta say though, I think the puff fire animations and excessive RGB and stuff is so.... ehhh.... it's laaaame in my opinion... I don't want my vape to grab people's attention like that, and I find it obnoxious to turn an adult's nicotine device and turn it into something which looks and acts like a kids toy. That's just me tho
I'm not big on mtl, I love them big Cloudy Fulkerson you can only get on a box mod and rda, or a mech being first choice over anything, them rta then rdta, the only smaller stuff I have are boros and I don't really do mtl on those either, keep clucking chouds, Stay Cloudy Yall 😶🌫️😶🌫️😶🌫️😶🌫️😶🌫️😶🌫️ voopoo is good, Love them and lost vape
