Skating in this would be an absolute nightmare, guarantee you couldn't feel the board at all with those soles, just no board control whatsoever. overall just seems dangerous af if I'm gonna be honest lol.

Personally, not a fan of these, just seems like a gimmick. And the practicality of the shoe just doesn't seem good as the bottom sticker shows. I've never heard of MSCHF before, but looking at their shoes, seems like all their shoes are just gimmicks. It makes you wonder do they just buy wholesale fakes & then add their own little designs? Obviously, these wavy vans took some actual production effort instead of just buying Vans or fakes, but for MSCHF's AF1's & AM97's might just be wholesale knockoffs? I think I would be fine if they make all these shoes with higher quality where it actually makes sense to purchase at a $220+ upcharge, but if it's the same or worst quality than the real shoes then might as well buy the real ones. These Wavy Vans are different, but just seems more of an inconvenience to wear them.

Serious question for US based lawyers - is that disclaimer sticker and any other notices they have sufficient to protect them from liability lawsuits if people are injured wearing these shoes? If you release a product that you reasonably know could be this dangerous to the public, can you make people sign away their right to sue? And what about third party injury?
