That creepy ending of AoT is one of the best anime endings for me. It's basically a history lesson, but it's so, so creepy and unnerving and just makes you so uncomfortable.

ED 3 is my all time fave. its insane and without context it is impossible to understand. Hell it even has secrets Manga readers didnt know about, as if the Author Isiyama told the studio to draw this and everyone was confused as to why, and isiyama replies "youll get it in 10 years"

When she says that 4 ending is more about "history", I start giggling like an idiot 😅

Fun fact Every ending is focused on something: ED 1 - Mikasa ED 2 - All characters and in its origins ED 3 - The truth about the origins of the titans ED 4 - Historia ED 5 - A tribute to those who died and could not see outside the walls ED 6 - Falco ED 7 - Eren and his desire to be free (it was a conversation betwen eren and mikasa) (Of course there is more but i only found these now + i didn't wanted to include (manga/anime now :) ) spoiler)

There's another theme song for the movie episodes which can also be considered as an opening/ending called "Under the tree", which is hella good. You can check out if you like.

"It makes me so happy to see Eren smile"....... that had me tearing up a little and made my heart hurt a bit 😢😢😢. God, I love AOT but the amount of times I tear up whenever I think about it is ridiculous. Pain, so much pain 😭😭😭.

As a manga reader of AoT I cried when I first saw the Akuma no Ko ending. Knowing the conclusion of the story and seeing the lyrics and the beautiful visuals accompanied by Higuchi Ai's beautiful voice, I just couldn't help but shed some tears. Attack on Titan truly changed my perspective on so many things and it's a story that will probably affect me for the rest of my life tbh. It's surreal to think that this journey will officially conclude in anime format in about 2 weeks from now. (Also there's another song called Under The Tree by the band SiM who made The Rumbling opening, the full version of it was released a couple of weeks ago and I think you should check it out too, great reaction as always btw!)

I still remember when I first saw that 3rd ending. The song, the eerie imagery, the despondent look on the titans faces, I was all soo overwhelming that I literally cried... just from the ending, not even the story, the ending itself made me cry. It was insane

I wouldn't say the endings are more loved than the openings overall, but they definitely are much more memorable and beautiful than average.

As a manga reader I cried ugly everytime i see the last ED, and I've seen it thousands of times already.

You gotta read the lyrics. Idk why no one ever reads the lyrics. They hit so hard. The one, Akuma No Ko really hits extra hard, especially with the current situation of the world ngl.

I love how ED 7 always gave me goosebumps and makes me addicted to the song/ending.

Akuma no ko is my favorite ending and you can’t convince me otherwise. It’s just has this emotional feel that everything comes to an end and it’s also Eren’s true feelings that are failed in this song

Ed 4 is my favourite. I got over the initial feeling of creepiness, making the rest beautiful. Helps that it’s centered on one of favorite characters.

Ending 5 (the one with the flashbacks) I think is meant to remind us of simpler times.. when friends were friends.. and titans were the enemies.. better times maybe?

I just saw your reactions to the openings and how you enjoyed The Rumbling. The group that did it is called S.I.M. They are a favorite group to listen to and have going for over 10 years. The official video to The Rumbling is great and you should also listen to the ending song they did called Under The Tree.

I think even if you could be wrong, we shouldn’t tell you either. It would def be more surprising to you if your expectations were reverted.

to me, what ending 7 symbolises is Eren letting go of his attachments to his friends (the scarf) so that they can be free, the bird cage symbolising the outside world not allowing them to be free, so then Eren rids of the bird cage (everyone outside the walls) which unveils a world of freedom and bliss, but then he sees what he has to do (the memories of his future which he saw through his dad's memories through the paths) and the outcome of his choices, the reason i think this is because immediately after being rid of the bird cage and this new open world opens up in front of him, he looks around and begins to smile excitingly, until he looks in a certain direction then he stops, with the ending cutting to some shots of certain areas on Paradis Island being overrun and desolate, one of them even showing the walls having collapsed, the ending then finishes with adult Eren walking towards this future, and fading away in a blaze, leaving his friends to live a life of freedom he was never able to this was the first anime i ever watched, it got me into anime and it will forever hold a special place in my heart

You def weren't right about everything, but yea, you do have an impressive knack for inferring details from openings and closings!

Lol, im sorry, but the way you said Mikasa made me cringe a bit 😂 thats okay though your new. It's pronounced "mee-kuh-sa" not "mih-kasa." It's one of only Japanese names in the anime. The names of all the characters come from all over the world which I found very fun.
