Yeah they're one of the better creators on this list. They actually had intentional design. Better than the one he was raving about having better starter homes than EA.
Thanks so much for the tips on finding gallery builds without so many packs! And also for showing a few CAS creators that don’t have the same looks as soooo many of the “front page” sims on the gallery!
same! I also love builds that are not overly cluttered so I can decorate them myself and mostly so I can see everything! some build are...i don't know where to look...I've encountered pretty pretty builds, love the structure but having to incorporate my style and how I would like the things/clutters to be placed is such a pain, sometimes I would just give up and find another one, so this vid helps a lot! thnx
The Gallery is used as cloud storage by many players. They download the builds from the Gallery, refurnish them, and reupload them to the Gallery. Some players will reupload the builds without any modifications whatsoever leading to duplicates. No wonder the Gallery is so slow at loading.
The duplicated drive me INSANE cause they’ll be pushed up higher!! I honestly just put the “most popular” filter on so I get stuff that has hella downloads, so at least I know it’s functional
I love doing random builds, but as a console player I feel like my builds will never compete with pc players. Anyway. AmylaAkatosh is my user name if you want to check out my terrible builds lol. No cc or mods.
one builder i love is jessiecapie (she also has a youtube channel) because i love all of the clutter and her houses are very realistic and tastefully done. She uses almost every pack but even if you didnt have all of the packs the houses/shells are still worth the download in my op
As someone who's here for the gameplay and frankly can't really be bothered with CAS or Building, this is perfect for me! Thanks, I loved this video and will be following the majority of these creators! Also, thank you for finding creators that either use minimal/no packs or just use a small grouping of packs together! All the big youtube builders go crazy with the packs and while they look great and I'd love to use their builds, I only own a handful of packs and so most of the builds would have too much missing for me to bother downloading!
I’m glad you mentioned the builds not being cluttered cause I hate downloading a lot from the gallery only for my sims pathing to completely glitch out (walking through walls, not moving) and I can’t even see half the stuff cause I play with the walls half down. It’s realistic but my sims can’t even live in it💀💀💀
Yes, here I am again - commenting on old videos! I so appreciate you mentioning Somewhsome - those are some amazing and realistic looking Sims - absolutely love them! And I've been looking for that! Thank you! ❤

Pugowned is the only simmer I will use for my pets now. They look so realistic, they add breeds the game doesn't have by using just normal CAS and no mods. I ADORE PUGOWNED.
Awhhhh, you just reminded me of Andrew Arcade! I used to watch him years ago when Get Together had just come out! I’m gonna go look him up again, thank you for that! ❤
Thank you so much. It's hard finding good starter homes. A starter home should be low enough in price that when placed on a lot the price remains below 20K. A starter home for say 19,995 simoleons isn't a starter home, it will be over 20K once placed on a lot.
Thanks for the video and the tips for finding base game builds. I'm mostly a Sims3 player and only have the base game and Dogs & Cat's for Sims4. I get really frustrated with trying to find workable builds on the gallery and struggle with building in Sims4. I find Sims3 three much easier, contrary to popular opinion.
Thank you for posting this. I try to build mostly starter homes that even on the lot, they are under 20k. I also don't put too much clutter, not just because of aesthetics but for cost (110 dollar bin, really). I've been working on making them a little prettier lately, so I'm glad that you posted this for us to see that it is possible to make a nice starter home under 20k. I also am cognizant of the comments and didn't realize there is that great a need for base game starter homes (all mine are base game), so I'm happy to see there is a 'market' for them.
Yes too much clutter is annoying. I love to build and I’ve done some that have a ton of stuff but it takes forever and then the house looks like a mess. I try to balance my builds to have mostly useable items and some decorative. I also love having artist sims so I love empty walls where my sim can put up their own paintings. And when I’m putting a house on the gallery I try to keep in mind that players will probably have sims bring stuff or buy things they need.
