Abbey , been following your coconut oil pre wash treatment advice & my hair has never felt healthier! Thank you for all you do & your transparency for haircare that actually works
How do you do it without weighing your hair down? Do you have thick hair? I have really fine hair and unless I use a clarifying shampoo like 4 times after my hair stays greasy and heavy. I want to love it too!
@@AmandaIsAwesome Are you putting it on the scalp? You should just put it on from the chin down and focus more on the ends. I also have fine hair and it comes off easily
Oh is that what you do? I use it on my ends most days even between washes without an issue. Maybe that's what she said. I tried it all over once and left it on overnight (like I think she said in one video?) and it was sooo much lol never again.
Hey Abbey just wanted to once again say THANK YOU - you totally changed my hair! In 2022 I had a horrible experience with a new hairdresser who utterly overprocessed my hair and turned it a hideous colour, requiring much further processing to resolve. My hair was the worst it’s ever looked. But your advice and guidance have transformed it in just over 12 months! Some of the things you recommend are not available in Australia, but often there is an equivalent. I haven’t been able to find the Pantene spray anywhere so I don’t think it’s sold in Australia. Btw I use Pureology Strength cure, I use the Pureology leave in, and I alternate between Olaplex and the LOREAL Elvive leave in treatments. 😊
Pantene Miracle Rescue 10 In 1 Multitasking Spray L’Oréal Everpure 21 in 1 Color Caring Spray Tresemmé Keratin Smooth Heat Protection Spray Eva NYC Mane Magic 10 in 1 Primer
@@angelag669yea but never trust that to actually protect your hair . It’s always good to use a separate heat protectant as a lot of companies just want you to buy the product so they list all these claims .
Also the Eva NYC mane magic 10 in 1 has heat protection upto 450 and it's sn amazing heat protection multi tasking leave in I highly recommend it I'm planning on trying the Loreal ever pure 21 in 1 next to see how I like it
i just wanted to let you know that because of you and your knowledge and recommendations, you have given life back into my hair. THANK YOU!!!!!!! i have bought what you recommended and put in a routin for my hair and i love how it looks and feels now. it brings me back my confidence. unfortunately i chopped off my hair before finding you but it’s ok it wil grow back healthier and stronger bc of you. thank you girl i know you wil go far in your career ❤
Would you say most heat protection sprays are also leave-in conditioners? I have a spray heat protection but I don’t want to use both leave-I’m and this spray. It has silicones and coconut oil. Can it act as both?
I absolutely hate that L'Oreal leave in because the scent just punches you in the face. I'm not scent sensitive in general but I do not love that scent. The brand describes it as "sophisticated" and just.......no. The Biosilk Miracle 17 is my current jam as a curly haired girl but it's more like $16 or $18. Definitely going to check out that Tresemme one though!
Thanks for letting us know about the event, I AM sensitive to scents, I can’t use any L’Oreal makeup because of the fragrance. It boggles my mind that they wouldn’t at least make a makeup selection fragrance free. Instead it’s like, “we’ve done the research, turns out there’s a lot of you folks out there that can’t tolerant artificial fragrance, and quite frankly we really don’t give a darn”
I thought it's just me 😅. The other everpure bonding line products have very nice and mild scents, but this leave in smells like a super cheap dollar tree product.
I checked out the Pantene one but I'm not convinced yet; the second ingredient right after water is phenoxyethanol (a preservative), so it has more preservative than any potential beneficial ingredient. 🤔🤷🏽♀️ EDIT: I went to Walmart and Pantene reformulated this product. Now the preservative is near the end. 😌
@@thegreaterconundrum I never said that. What I said is that the product contains more preservative THAN beneficial ingredients (humectants, oils, proteins, silicones, etc.).
@@VeganismIsDeath-cz9mn I just assumed you thought it was bad and not neutral, because water is more often than not the highest listed ingredient in every water based product, but you didn't mention it.
@@VeganismIsDeath-cz9mn Hey I looked into the ingredients of this product - it doesn't look like there is any phenoxyethanol in it. The second ingredient is propylene glycol
I'm so glad I've found your channel. I've stopped using hair dye and had 6 inches chopped off in November and my hair is growing so fast but doesn't seem in good condition. I switched to tresemme and since then my scalp has been itchy and flaky but also oily even after washing. Even using tresemme heat defence spray makes my hair feel and look greasy! My hair just doesn't agree with it at all. I have really thick hair that's quiet frizzy on the ends, which one would you recommend? Thank you ☺️
Garnier Whole Blends Coconut Water and Aloe is better for my hair than many expensive conditioners. It's very moisturizing. I couldn't find a conditioner at Sephora that was as good as this one.
Me too. That's what the ladies say when they cut my hair. But to me it doesn't feel like lots of hair because a lot it falls on the floor! Have you used any Loreal shampoos? What do you think about the pantene leave in? Does it feel greasy?
Can I use the tre semmé first to prep my curly hair, for the styler afterwards, as it's a spray, and most def not enough for my wash and go? I'll give it a try, just for the heat protection
I tried mane management on my hair and not only did the bottle leak every time I used it I had SO much breakage! My waist length ponytail has been reduced to half the size losing years of hard work in the trash bin! Imo you're better off making your own hair oils to customize what your hair and scalp need. Unless you like the scraggly damaged or bald look 😢
I have dry damaged hair from bleaching . I am using bond builders and oils and a high end heat protection. Problem is I cannot do the no heat rule as I have curls and unless I style them over and over until next wash day they don’t look good , or I air dry and get frizz because of the damage . All this to say , will I still be able to heal my hair using heat gently with a good protection because my healing curls can’t take the constant attention or product atm being naturally styled and neither can my nerves 😳 Please tell me it’s possible ❤ your recommendations and your hair looks so beautiful
Can you find me a way to get eva nyc in Greece? They dont ship to Greece from anywhere!! The official site...amazon ebay ...I cant get my hands on the brand .. Help!!
Do your trichology classes talk about ingredients that are are “bad”? An example is the list of ingredients that Sephora won’t sell. Could you talk about those?
Pantene Miracle Rescue 10 In 1 Multitasking Spray L’Oréal Everpure 21 in 1 Color Caring Spray Tresemmé Keratin Smooth Heat Protection Spray Eva NYC Mane Magic 10 in 1 Primer
I used to use a leave in conditioner after every wash but I stopped doing it because it made my hair so nice and sleek that I thought it had to be terrible because there was no way a product could be that miraculous 😅. After watching several of your videos I started again and my hair feel so great
