Raging Bolt is actually based specifically on the Apatosaurus/Brontosaurus. The latter of which means "thunder lizard".

The fact suicune which looked more like a herbivore is the one that turned into a predator while Entei and Raikou both predator looking Pokémon turned into herbivore dinosaurs is really funny. The paradox legendary beasts were really cool and gouging fire’s crest looks so cool. I would’ve loved to have fused these legendaries into the picture showed in the book cause they both looked really cool. I like the paradox swords of justice trio as well their attack animations are pretty cool from swords coming out of iron leaves, iron crowns horns turning into plasma whips, and iron boulders horns turning into like an axe.

I prefer the swords of justice because while they may look the same they are just different enough that it works for me. Especially cause the original trio has a grudge against humans so seeing robot versions of them goes against that in the best way. It’s so cool.

Iron Boulder having a strong Rock type move with 100 accuracy is huge. It being able to hit through Protect is a bonus.

2:58 Gouging Fire's neck is down and ready to pounce while Entei's neck is up and looks almost peaceful. Also the cloud from Enter's back is used as Gouging Fire's tail which is really cool and I didn't expect it. I think they have decently different body types but not too different since they're both on all fours while walking wake is bipedal despite suicune being on all fours.

I like to call the groups the primal beasts and the distant swords

Giant Long Neck Raging Bolt is such an good type combo Electric/Dragon! And Gouging Flame r some of the best designs of Paradox Pokemon.

As a fan of Johto, I love this so much. Suicune is tied with Samurott for my favorite Pokémon, and seeing Suicune get Walking Wake made me so happy. The fact it walks on water is insane attention to detail. Raging Bolt is plain goofy and Gouging Fire looks badass. All in all, one of my favorite legendary trios ever, only behind the original beasts and the trio from Sun and Moon.

I accidentally caught Raging Bolt with a Dive Ball because it was technically in water.

For the names of the trios I was think Prehistoric Beasts and Refined Justice / Futuristic Justice

My head canon is a wayward drone flew in, snapped a couple shots, and was then destroyed by a paradox mon. Whoever owned the drone probably posted the photos anonymously online and that's why they were suspect to be fakes

I really love both set of Paradoxes I wonder what other Paradox Pokemon from there timeline look like. I personally like the Beast trio better and my personal favorite is Gouging Fire.

I wonder if they ever make a Paradox Keldeo, again hypothetically, which would make a good counterpart to in the Scarlet version? I especially question this since only swords of justice have a fourth member due to how their inspiration did as well, but not the Legendary Beasts.

I really really love the new legendary Dino-beasts (as I like to call them xD), their designs are so good and they hit me right in my love for dinosaurs.

Although Walking Wake is still my favourite, I also like Raging Bolt a lot, especially the wrapped mane resembling a thundercloud. Gouging Fire is probably my least favourite, not sure why. Oh yeah, I prefer the Paradox Swords.

For the perrin quest, the first time yeah I did it for the fun of it, second time I used my living Pokedex in home. Much easier xD

The Pokédex requirement caused me genuine pain, but worth it to get the Paradox Beasts!

For those quests to get those Paradox Pokémon and Bloodmoon Ursaluna I just used Pokémon Home to fill up the dex as I felt that would be quicker. Am I the only who did this?

I like how with Raging Bolt could have easily even more like a sabertooth tiger but they went for something different. Same with how people speculated with Gouging Fire would be based a stegosaurus. I like both trios equally. When you think about it, what are the two main threats to humankind? Nature and technology. The beasts represent nature with the savage creatures that could harm humans (as seen in PLA with the wild Pokémon) and the Swords of Justice represent the idea of 'What if technology had a mind of its own and resented humankind'. You could kind of see it in Mewtwos story where it resented the very people who created it. That said, it could be argued that climate change/natural disasters could be our timelines main threat with Hoenn having had Groudon (drought/earthquakes) and Kyogre (flooding) battle it out. Rayquaza, on the other hand, could represent the O-zone (and I guess tornados) Or... I might be overthinking this..

I was assuming that the pictures came from people sneaking into Area Zero. While it is "off-limits", Arven states that he could call the flying taxi from there, so I wouldn't be surprised if others are sneaking in from time to time. Still, there are other plotholes with the story, like the professor giving us their scarlet/violet book, so it could have been overlooked as well...

Hmm, so are the Paradox Pokemon real Pokemon from a different reality, or the culmination of the dreams of a fractured psyche? It's still a bit confusing for me, but I can see the connection to Power Rangers immediately. I really do hope that they do get to combine into the creatures we see in the books at one point, the designs are way too good to be just concept art. I just love the sheer absurdity of just making the Johto trio into prehistoric monstrosities. I find it extremely hilarious that GameFreak turn these majestic creatures with a sad backstory into FREAKIN DINOSAURS because why the heck not. On top of that, all 3 of them look really freakin cool with my personality favorite being Raging Bolt cause it looks incredibly stupid but at the same time looks really badass looking.

Genuienly still makes me mad that they decided to make the DLC2 paradoxes trade only, Like why? Why not make them raids like the first, Or give us more than one? One for trade and one for keeping?

Despite playing violet I prefer the prehistoric trio.

Gen 9 has some of the best legendary pokemon ever, at least some of the most unique, they are not God's like gen 3, 4, 5 and 6 but still very good

The Future Swords of Justice are kind of interesting, but it would have been nice if they had more changed. Walking Wake and Raging Bolt are easily the coolest of the DLC Paradox Pokemon... But Gouging Fire is just Entei with a funny hat. It's easily my least favourite of the DLC Paradox Pokemon. Even still though, I'm kind of hoping we get a way to fuse them in the Epilogue Update... But that's probably just wishful thinking. By the way, the player isn't actually allowed to freely enter Area Zero, they just kind of do so anyway since they don't care what the authorities say.

Although the Past Paradox pokemon are my favorite overall. The Scarlet pokedex entrie for Iron Bolder was cool.

I’m convinced that the paradoxes are from a parallel timeline as opposed the past or future as it just makes more sense to me for them to come from a world where all pokemon are more prehistoric or robotic, as opposed to them actually existing in the past or future.

Future paradox pokemon look a lot better really.
