Plat Chat Demonetizing Moment of the Stream Timer (Episode 178): 4:47 Thank goodness for the Factor sponsorship (4:01 Sideshow with an Ayo statement) *FAILURE* Record for 2024: 6-13 (.316) Culprit - Bren (4) extending his lead Leaderboard: 1. Bren (4) 2. Balla (2) 3. Kurt (1) 4. mCe (1) 5. Mimi (1) 6. Paperthin (1) 7. Sean Gares (1) 8. Sideshow (1) 9. Wyatt (1) HM: 3D Gooning (1) (Gone but never forgotten)
It took me a while to fully grasp this but I just realized that THE PLATCHAT COSTREAM IS BACK LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOO I USED TO PRAY FOR TIMES LIKE THIS
Y'all seriously underate David he all the fans hype aside he is really good, and d4v4i being their(PRX) 4th best player is absolute bs Copenhagen he was their highest rated player Champs 2022 he was their highest rated player Pacific 2023 he was top 2 in the league Masters Tokyo he was their highest rated player Champs 2023 he was their highest rated player Pacific Kickoff he was their second highest rated player Madrid was the only one he wasn’t top 2 And mind you he is also a flex player not as big as foresaken but he still played 3 roles (senti, controller, initiator)
Sideshow didn't say he was their 4th *best* player, he said he was their 4th *most important player* to their play style. And that's true even if he's arguably their most in-form player right now. He's the most standard player on the team, but they categorically need f0rsaken to achieve their W key gaming style, he enables everything and sets the tempo. Jinggg's aggressive space taking too, then something I think they said. Like Jinggg and maybe even moreso f0rsaken are completely irreplaceable in the job they do and the way they do it. There's not another player on the planet like f0rsaken. Whereas there are other people who play like D4V4I and do his job, he's just the best at it right now.
platchat having forsaken top 10 while tmv barely excluding him, i feel like im in another universe 1:34:26 also agree with egg gen g would have lost 3-0 if its not for texture
10:38 Whispering Yelling Brennon/ Playing for Stats/ Aspas Mention 1:20:34 Benjy Fishy motivation and Benjy vs Plat Chat 1:26:09 Benjy comment 1:36:34 Sliggy rooting for Leo Vs Egg rooting for Texture should be a rap battle 1:44:08 PRX DAVID SLANDER 1:46:41 BREN'S BASED LIST TOP 15/ Egg and Sliggy Self Implode 1:59:51 100T 1st Argument 2:05:26 "YOU CAN'T STOP GOD" 2:06:10 Fnatic deepthoating?? 2:08:51 FUT RANT! LOTUS RANT 2:28:34 SLIGGY VOTED FOR FPX???
44:12 Btw 6 teams is NO EXCUSE to do single elim. A double elim playoff bracket with 6 teams is super easy: 1. Do a 4-team double elim "group" like they do at masters. The 2 winners of the stage skip this "group stage" 2. The 2 teams that came through the group + the 2 stage winners do a normal 4-team double elim bracket It's literally the same as masters last year, easiest bracket of my life
45:59 No, this is a complete non-reason. It took me 5s to think of the bracket I posted above, if anyone working at riot is in possession of a semi-functional brain they could have thought of this as well
@@serenalaurence1492 My bracket would be 11 games not 12 (bc you dont need a final in the group) but I see what you mean. If there have to be ECACTLY 8 games or less then you're right there's no way around it... But the VCT is already extremely short with very few total games... I dont buy that adding only *3 games* per playoffs would break the league
aint no way he's coming back rn at the very least, he's very much enjoying his time as a streamer, not to mentioned signed as an official costreamer for g2 for quite a bit at least. But I do agree that they really need a roster change, as good as the players may be on paper.
bren just being the impostor the whole top 10 players only to confess at the end when he got exposed is certainly a top 10 platchat val moments 2024 for me
1:35:55 "yea 100%, different role, more stat, does more calling, literally every element of the game.... better." my goat sliggy, not messing around with his words. we know who the real no.1 player is. A sick leo is better than almost every other player on this list.
Every player from PRX could've been on that list tbh. F0rsaken does play a lot of different agents at a very high level which brings a lot of freedom but overall I don't know if you can say that f0rsaken is putting up better performances on any of those agents than Jinggg is on raze or something is on jett. Personally I think d4v41 has been their best player this split but like I said all of them could be top 10 imo.
@@alexwyffels9788 Jinggg is not even top 10 if you actually watch the leagues lmao. Jinggg has so much games that he underperforms while davai and forsaken has been consistently their best players on split 1
i honestly think prx as a team is strong i don't think any of player is higher or lower from each other...i don't think any individual carry that team everyone do they job.. that's why in tokyo without something still top3 in Madrid without jinggg still top3
With yay ive heard other pros talk about it, picking the biggest org or the biggest bag is often a mistake if its not a team you want to play with. I know yay got the bag at bleed but its really not worth it at this point.
Me, a Gen.G fan: Sideshow is correct, y’all go home. On a different note, Leo is always going to be one of the best players at any given tournament. His consistency is incredible and I think he often is overlooked because he’s not flashy. He’s such an amazing player.
Totally. He's not as flashy as Aspas, but has been the best player in the world now for over a year when you take everything into account (not just fragging)
Hottake: i like only the people on the show submitting their top 10 rankings. Its much more fun if they have to defend themselves and also more batshit things occur since everyone has a higher weight in their vote
Aspas never loses an aim duel, he’s ice cold and electric at the same time and it wild, however, Texture has sold his soul to some sort of primordial time god and can alter the fabric of reality to steal away with the craziest plays ever.
I am currently on the number 2 player in the player rankings and currently you are telling me that both sliggy and sideshow both COMPLETELY FORGOT of the existence of aspas...? CAUSE WHO ELSE WOULD BE NUMBER 1???
Honestly I have the plan for NRG which is gonna MEGA COOK. They drop the ENTIRE roster and rebuild with :- Subroza, Som, Sinatraa, Poolchan and Yoy (or Marved or literally anyone)
geng clears every single team in the world. anyone who says sentinels are better bc they won grandfinals, where are they now how do they let 100t and fucking g2 go to shanghai. and now geng has been to every single grandfinals in the year. bren has no idea what geng is like.
leo is 100% worse than texture. idk wtf sliggy is saying normally i agree with sliggy with everything but this is a little weird. texture would clear leo in every way possible. texture has carried a team that hasnt been to an international event in so long to a grandfinal. leo can never do that
Forget about mindfreak for master shanghai, just this 4 players are sooo good. We are talking about current performances, d4v41 is the best player in PRX right now.
As consistent and important as he is, d4v41 isn’t the IGL tho. That team got no IGL and they all make the calls. Tho from what I’ve been hearing recently, it’s Jinggg and Something that’s been making the calls but yeah PRX doesn’t have a set IGL.
Only 12 year olds who don’t have any fundamental knowledges of the game will say t3xture is better than Leo. These kids just glaze whoever hits nice shots. We mature people all know Leo is the real one.
Replace t3xture with an average duelist and GenG wouldn't have made either Madrid or Shanghai. T3xture carried them through kick-off, then carried them to a final in Madrid, then carried them to top of their group, then carried them through playoffs to qualify for Shanghai. At some point you gotta give the man his praise. All that being said I agree that Leo is still better. He's been in the conversation for best player in the world since the beginning of 2023 which is an insanely long time to play at this high of a level.
