You can use lipstick too! I also have dry lips and I put aquaphor on my lips (not the lip balm, the tube one) to soften then and then apply lipstick (non-matte ones).

I hate how lipsticks are smudges off and stick on everything it touches that’s why I prefer lips stains but if you’re concerned about dry lips try ysl ones they’re literally lip balms with high pigments

@@bi23 I prefer lip tints/stains too, but I hate how the stain sticks to any dry areas of the lips as it eventually wears off. You end up looking like you’ve been sucking on an icypole/popsicle!

Lifesaver tip for chapped lips: After you've done brushing your teeth, wash clean your toothbrush and wet it with water then gently scrub your lips with it for couple of minutes. You can also use lukewarm water. Afterwards, moisturize the lips. Trust me you don't need any expensive lip scrubs after this ❤

@@fyre00_56I don’t think the bristle matters as long as you brush to exfoliate. It shouldn’t hurt, if your bristles are soft maybe go a little hard but if it’s hard bristles, maybe be very gentle. I like to use vaseline right after to keep well moisturized

I used to have dry chapped lips. Most lip balms dont work on my lips. The only ones that worked are Vaseline Creme brulee lipbalm and Biotique lip balm.

I live in Iceland where the weather is mostly cold and dry lips a common thing to have but I prevent it by when I wash my face in the morning and evening, I use wet washcloth during my skincare routine and after putting my cleanser on and taking it off with the washcloth I gently rub my lips for about 30 seconds and after that, no dead, chapped skin on lips and then I put something moistureizing on my lips. Just like the face needs cleansing, removing dead skin and moistureize the face, we have to take care of our lips also 💋 P.s beautiful lip tints 😻

I'm gonna try this. I miss the old lip tints that really stains and would last a day or even more (older peripera ink velvet & airy velvet, peripera ink tattoo, peripera ink marker and missha marker tint.. Now it's just all velvet, gloss and mousse. So easy to remove and only last for few hours. 😢 The only new lip tint I love right now is the 3CE water blur tint.

My lips were always chapped, I suffer with breakouts I bought some of The Ordinary, Glycolic Acid Toning Solution, it's the 7% one So I see a YT short of a girl putting some on her lips with a cotton ball then lathers her lips with a balm I said I would try it, used some Aloe Vaseline when it dried in. Game changer!!

If your lips are always dry try wearing chapstick when you brush your teeth. The mint is really drying and it helps a ton.
