In this episode of FGP Prep Book we look at two 1st generation Porsche 997 Carrera S', which come in to stock with some of the problems this model is most prone to.
So pleased that the orange stipes have gone. Always take it back to the original spec. Oh and it creates much less attention when it's parked outside my house. Thanks Luke.
Oustanding video, and excellent showcase of your knowledge and business - great to see you preparing the stock so thoughtfully - will be keeping an eye on the cars on your webpage for sure!
In the not too distant future I’ll be buying a 996/997; I’ll definitely be coming here for mine. You can’t put a price on peace of mind. Love the videos 👍🏽
Great video, and thanks for detailed discussion of M030 suspension package. Would you do a similar video on common issues with 997.2 and perhaps touch on any PDK issues you are aware of. Cheers and good job!
This guy knows it all. Amazing! Would love to buy from his shop. I just got (2 weeks back) a 2010 911 Carrera 6MT and a well maintained car with clean carfax (lucky to find such a car) and love it. The sound was a bit loud when I startup and noticed it had the muffler bypass, a shark werk exhaust. I was told it was very nice.
I am enjoying your 997 stuff i have just took on a 07 997 4s it's got some bore scoring in cylinder 6&5 and i am going to get it lined and clutch . It's the only way of getting my self into a 997
The driving lights of the .1 is really nice. it looked so elegant and well designed. Wished it had stayed for the .2. The wheels in this one is beautiful too.
Great video Luke two lovely 997's, the black one had to go OEM spec looked epic in the after shots. Great info on the MO30 suspension too, learnt something new about that option with LSD. Look forward to the next episode 👍
