I've always thought about this about so many products, and without any real knowledge on this, just put it down to the manufacturers making an A. version and then have a lot of B version/"first draft" versions that another company will come in and sell as a cheap "knock off". And then a more premium brand above either A or B comes in and pays for all the customisation to make it look way more unique... food for thought anyway.

Thanks for the detailed review that cuts through the BS :) I had purchased the Flybird one around a year ago, when there were basically no bad reviews about it. Seeing that it now has a few 1-star reviews makes me a bit anxious, but so far I’ve had no problems with it.

I'm pretty sure it's a Chinese knockoff; This is too bad. They talk about that sort of thing happening all the time on Shark Tank. While the better grip on the orange one is enticing I wouldn't give money to any company that blatantly copies someone else's product. Thanks for the review Detective McIntyre.

I just subscribed! Thanks a lot for a video like this. I recently moved to a new rented apartment and drilling holes is not an option. I have been checking different pull up bars and I swear I saw the same product made by 4 or 5 different companies. Even in the product photos you can see that the bar is the exact same but the logo is not part of it, it is just photoshoped on top. On a side note, this particular pull up bar is also sold by a company named UMI. Among other products like kettles or dog poop bags... I do not mind paying for a quality product but I hate the lack of honesty of some of these companies.

Let me tell you something about this bar. It wiggles non-stop. Ordered it recently and it moves around/rotates even with those bits. I bought it bc it was one of the few long enough for my door, but overall it’s poorly engineered. Unless there’s something I’m missing..

Thanks for the video, just purchased and received yesterday Toptry pull up bar. Instructions are in bad English, I'm French speaking. All instructions in chart make no sense. Design are very similar but plastic pads to grip against door frame not exactly same. Hands pad are good they don't move. It also comes with a removable bubble level. I purchased on Amazon in Canada. Bar is heavy. Not even a website or any address one 1 sheet instruction paper.

Well, it's about 6 months after this video has been uploaded, and prices seem to have changed a bit. Feierdun is now 54.99 and FlyBird is 52.99. Thanks for the informative video. I think I'll be buying the FlyBird unless I can find a more affordable option.
