People aren't as smart as they think. Often they get stuck in rhythms especially later on when you're running on endurance and constant training. Realistically, learning someone's rythym is both the only way you'll hit a professional, and the best way to counter punch. It's also the best way to get punches in. Other fighters learn your rythym only for you to break it.

A loooooot of haters and envious doubters in the comments. 😂 They forget to mention things like the cardio, endurance, regiment, study, technique, form, dieting, exercise, strength, discipline, pain, hours of hard work, how long it takes to be able to do these demonstrations without much fail. The difference between mastering repetition vs being able to command your craft with skill and variation on demand. All you see are results and progress. You likely don't know what it takes to get to these points. It's not just muscle memory. Not everyone can train like every clip shown without hard work. Not everyone has discipline everyone has the mental fortitude to lose weight, take the pain, stay consistent.. And so what if someone has nice work and would lose a fight. No one was claimed to be the greatest. These individuals are only celebrated for having potential, working hard or having accomplished something and making something out of their efforts. Sometimes, ppl make me sick with how ignorant and arrogant they are. Miserable... A lot of you are miserable.
@aguy481

Please go to a 5 star boxing gym and realize most of these are basic things
@theWIIISEguy
@theWIIISEguy Год назад
@aguy481 Have been to several levels of gyms. From ones that use boxing for cardio to ones that have coaches that have taught big names. It takes the average person ua year or more to do some of these things competently. The speed, accuracy, and technique mastery. Not the obvious clips of fledgling beginners learning the very basics. You pretty much just proved to me that I'm right to say what I said. Most of you are haters that are more concerned with passively demanding/suggesting that the clips should consist of excellency and advanced expertise. But you don't even realize that's not what the video is about, as I pointed out before. You're jealous and / or petty comment gremlins who don't understand this is a celebration of those who are putting in time and the purpose is to motivate others to grind. Hence, it is showing kids foing flashy padwork and showing intensity learning footwork. Hence showing the fat guy who's working hard to lose weight. Hence showing the amature fighter who just got his 1st win. No one ever said this is a video about dominanting-fighters or training that rivals a professional's. Once you understand that you'll perhaps get over yourself and stop holding randoms to a standard you set, just be judgemental. Maybe then you'll realize this type of behavior is exactly what keeps some people anxious and avoiding gyms and deters people from trying to grind. Because there's always a group of casuals or intermediate and smug people who feel like they have to judge and compare beginners to experts.. Just because.

I worked with a chef that was a fat guy, his belly was most of his weight and it stuck out pretty far. One of his fight tactics was using a belly bump that kinda stuns you, and if there's a corner or wall your pinned, he was very fast with his hands. He could throw some punches for a big older man.

Bullshit. You’ve clearly never been in a boxing ring nor trained in boxing. And taking a Tai-bo class doesn’t count. Muscle memory leads to quicker and better form. It doesn’t make the boxers in this video. I competed as an amateur boxer from the age of 7 until I was 20. I saw WELL over 100 people train in my gym. Of that 100+, I can count on one hand the number of boxers on this caliber. It’s more mental than anything. Given the sad state of humans the world over, it’s no surprise most will never be anywhere close to a real boxer.

Even though it’s timing but what you don’t know is it’s mental timing. You have to time it in your head while moving about that’s the hard part.
@allenlamb8240
@allenlamb8240 Год назад
Exactly, that subtle mental factor is key. People tend to only view timing from a physical standpoint and forget the mental aspect.. anticipation of your opponentsnext move, ability to set a counter up, recognize tells/ques from the opponents their rythmn..much more.

@@allenlamb8240 What's amazing noone never told me that, it;s just something i know how to do while fighting. For instance 1-2's left is 1 and 2 is right (orthodox) right is 1 and 2 is left (southpaw) then counter with a slip/overhand.

I have been saying for a while now that at this point if you aren't training your child in some form of martial art as a way to give them confidence and to simply improve their lives; then you are doing them a great disservice..

U dont train a kid in fighting for confidence...it's for protection. If your kid is lacking confidence there's an issue with how u teach ur kid morally and religiously.

@@tonynguyen8166 i know you mean well, however it’s both. Martial art training does bring confidence. Common sense tells that.

Hitting a punching bag at super nice speed and actually facing an opponent in the boxing ring when it matters is two different things........
