@@RobertWelsh: dear Robert...what's Up with the Arm and Hand of the DARK Skinned Model with the Swatches? 🤔 I have a lot of very DARK skinnend Friends...but all of them have much lighter Hands on the INSIDE...did the Photographers paint before the Shoots their Hand INSIDE? 🤔😉🤗😮💨 Looks really Strange to me, sorry! It's not your Fault - but looks disturbing, or?
It’s amazing! I’m all about turning “flaws” into assets. If I wake up with a huge zit, out come the brow pencils and I get a new beauty mark for the day.😂
I know it probably wouldn't sell but I really want a 'traditional' Christmas collection! Like Victorian-esque packaging, sponges like old timey sweets, a palette with rich greens, reds, plums and golds, maybe blushers in packaging that looks like those random oranges we had to stick cloves in during Primary school! 😂😂 I want Christmas collections that look like Christmas!
I think it would sell really well. The scents associated with such sweets have been popular for a long time at the holidays. I'm really surprised that no one has done this. That old color palette is used heavily in Christmas decor, I don't know why it wouldn't work in makeup. Lol absolutely no to the clove orange packaging tho, haha, those freak me out... but fancy pretty victorian theme, definitely! And victorian christmas really was more aesthetic and culinary than gift focused, it's a rare commercial concept that is historically sound lol...well except for wearing color makeup at all...but they liked powder and perfume!
I love love love how you include your scar in your make up looks, drowing attention to it even ... scars are unique to each of us, a great example of acceptance... love you and your videos 💙
You and @TheresaisDead need to send each other products that you each can’t get on your side of the Atlantic - you’re both Disney fans and she desperately is looking for someone to send her that Gremlins collection. It would be so cute!
Yep, she has 2 different videos where she talks about eu only releases saying she would pay for the products if someone could get them for her - oh and shipping too lol
I tried both the Makeup by Mario and Haus Labs concealers, and I ended up returning the Makeup by Mario concealer after seeing how well the Haus Labs concealer performed.
The only thing I noticed was Colorpop has something that glows in the dark after being exposed to light. Sadly I don't remember if it's a cream or powder. It is part of their Disney Haunted Mansion collection.
I completely agree. ColourPop is a big culprit here. New releases constant, often that either just reposition shades from another palette or take from a few existing palettes to create a "new" one. How can we get excited about new releases anymore, even when they might be quite good?
Literally the reason I’ve stopped keeping up with releases. I literally only find out about releases whenever trendmood occasionally pops up on my feed lol. It got to be to much especially with Colourpop releasing something every other week almost
Totally off topic, but I would LOVE to see you do a video on how to adjust your makeup as your skin changes over time. I had dry skin my whole life and now in my mid thirties me and so many of my friends have had complete flips and have oilier skin now. A lot of our fav tried and true products don’t work anymore and we feel totally lost. Thank you for all the amazing content you put out!
I love coming to your channel for chit chat and gossip. You give me such life and energy in makeup/ beauty community. ETA- what eyeshadow combo are you wearing?
I don’t think any of us can pay attention to the products in this video because we’re all too distracted by this absolutely amazing makeup look. (Ain’t gonna lie though, I dig those alien sunglasses 😆)
I absolutely LOVE liquid eyeshadows that dry down like the Stella collection and really think they haven’t been explored enough and there’s new potential formulas and applicators.
I imagine many people commented on how gorgeous your colored scar is!! Love it so much…what did you use? I have a scar that I sometimes paint and I find it fun to experiment and find out what works on that kind of tissue. I think I have seen every video you have done, as well as every twin video, but I don’t remember seeing your scar painted before. Anyway, again, I LOVE it!!!❤❤❤
For me, the hermes lipstick is all about the packaging. The formula is fine. I have really dry lips and have one of their matte formulas and it's the only matte lipstick ive ever liked. But, the feels i feel when i hold that heavy lipstick and the satisfying snap of the magnetic lid is what really makes it worth it for me 😅 but idk if i can justify owning more than one
I'm so disappointed in Revolution. I used to really enjoy some of their eye shadow pallets and skincare products but they have become so tacky and lackluster. Thank you for saying it as it is.
Robert!!!!!!! Grease 2 has been my favorite movie since I was 5! The soundtrack is also epic. I ❤ u even more for this!!! Michelle Pfiefer was GORGEOUS in it!!!!!
The Sheglam lipsticks remind me of the Avon lipstick testers back in the early 70’s. My best friend’s aunt was an Avon lady and we had great fun sneaking into her bedroom and going through all her samples!
I could do with a halloween themed collection! Why do brands skip ahead to xmas? Dont get me wrong, i like christmas but i get so hyped for spooky season!
I'm sure my opinion is low on the totem pole but I'd like to see packaging changes. I feel like the majority of makeup (drug store and even some "high end" brands) share the same quality. As far as packaging changes, it'd be nice to offer reusable packaging that is affordable and sturdy. It seems as though most packaging is focused on bright colors to gain attention but I'd prefer quality within that bright plastic wrapped lipstick tube, eyeshadow palate, etc. For example, if you google "1940's makeup compacts," they are crafted so well and last a lifetime. I'd like refillable items where the plastic hinges don't break off during change over. Perhaps taking a step back and focusing on the quality of packaging and less on the newest trend of the same old makeup.. would be nice. 🤷♀️
Thank you for your honest reviews as always! 💖 Do you have any plans to review Kaleidos (I think you did their space age highlighters palette a few months ago)? For a cbeauty brand, their colours are super bold, and I literally cannot stop watching ig clips of their chromatic eyeshadows ✨✨ Would love to see what you think of/do with their eyeshadows and chromatic eye liners (their blushes and lip glosses from the latest range looks stunning too)! x
The color in your eyebrow looks so good! When I first saw Huda easy bake a few days before I thought of you. Waiting for your opinion or a PSA from you!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
Unless the UK does it different "waist" refers to like waist, hips, thighs while "waste" is the spelling for how you're using it. Sorry to be annoying. 😅
_Waisting_ my money actually describes with absolute accuracy what I' m forced to so a bit more every day. My money is Scarlett O' Hara and I am Mammy corsetting it for dear life😅😝
Thankyou soooo much for acknowledging Grease 2!!!! I’m always singing the songs and no one cares 😩 ‘cool rider’ ‘sherade’ ‘girl for all seasons’ the bowling alley song! Such a great movie and I hope ppl go watch based on your recommendation 😊😅❤
robert! i love hearing your thoughts when you break down collabs. i would love if you did a video of some of your favorite collab collections and brands that always nail it! also what franchises you’d like to see in a makeup collab. for me, i’d die if glamlite ever did a sailor moon collab
Robert, if you haven’t already, will you make a video about your favorite powder foundations? Especially drugstore (and also available in the US lol). My absolute favorite was The Healthy Powder by Physicians Formula but it was discontinued 😭 I also love the makeup you’ve done on your eyebrow scar! 💙
Every time I hear "baking powder", I automatically think of cakes!! 🤣 Love the beautiful eye colour you've used here Robert! It's SO BRIGHT and pretty!! Looks great on your scar too! 🥰😎🇦🇺
I do love Winnie the Pooh; my nickname growing up and now lol was Roo (the little joey in Hundred Acre Wood); that being said, that color block idea would be a great idea! I think getting rich colors inspired by the books and the characters would be lovely
When Pooh gets his butt stuck thru Rabbit's house opening and then Rabbit decorates his butt instead of helping 😂 That has always been really hilarious to me. I love it, too.
I wanted to love the Haus Labs concealer so much!! It was way too sticky and difficult to blend on my maturing skin. Even using the teeniest amount, it just sat there.
I have to say I agree with you about the grease collection. They missed the mark with the names. And I absolutely love Grease 2 it's one of my favorite movies of all time. Love your videos Peace and love to you and your family 💙💜💙💜
Oooh a fellow grease 2 lover. Cool rider , Michelle pfieffer was my go to in those days. Hands up anyone who fancied perching on the decorating ladders belting that out
