Honestly its wild how much harder TN-3 Spectacular was compared to all the other stages in the trial, including TN-4. Those Steamknight buffs are brutal. Absolutely amazing clear!
@@lalilola3770 Yeah, Hoshi was a godsend for keeping him stalled and getting breathing room for redeployment timers and DP costs between artillery attacks. Raising her was probably one of my best decisions.
Yup, that missile together with steam knight fart are very annoying. Whats more annoying is that i have like two wildly different strat for mudmud and steamknight with widely different squad. TN3 spectacular trial is the hardest even beating TN4
I’m using Skadi. She can actually stall boss inside Ifrit and Andreana range long enough for the boss to fly up. When the boss comes back down, Skadi’s already back to full hp.
On my end, I used one simple combo for all 3 bosses: Matoimaru and Mllnar. She can facetank pretty much anything with her almost 7k hp, her S1 insta-heal her for 50% of her max hp, she can die once and still remain on the field with half the hp, and combine this with two decent healer and mllnar to cook whoever you're stalling and voila
what a nostalgic choice of music! even just watching you manage taunts with the freelings and the phalanx girls was enough to make me go nuts. congrats on the spectacular (heh) clear
we can talk about how impressive it is to clear this or that with casters or even any other class only all we want because it is but strategizing like this, calculating every minute detail to be able to pull it off so well is what's really impressive, i could never do that.
I look at the stage, start thinking about what characters would do well and why, think of a general plan, then I try to make the most out of them. When timings don't work out I look at my recordings to see if I can fix them and keep doing it until I clear. An obvious example would be this stage, where it was clear I'd have to bring Beeswax and Dusk to deal with Steam Knight being invisible
Not using any buffs here is not really as impressive as it may seem, not gonna pretend they wouldn't help, but 6 ops seemed like the limit with or without buffs. Not gonna lie, though, I considered picking the hp buff just so everyone in the team would survive a cannon with the shields cause uhmmm... Figuring out the Steam Knight part was rough.
@@Krys_ak Tbh even if you'd taken the HP buff I'd probably be saying the same thing, it's still just as impressive to me. I struggled to get past Mudrock with 9 casters and any of the buffs, the few times I fluked it I got demolished by Manfred, and I'd rather not even say how long it took to clear Steam Knight with an unrestricted squad. TN-3 completely defeated me, so watching this seriously floored me, man. Your clears always teach me something new.
I’m guessing this is the hardest version of this trial correct? The base version was hard enough for me with abyssal hunters and more! Can’t imagine doing it on the hardest difficulty. Amazing clear!
Man I wish the game wouldve gave me a lin instead of 3 chongye, but hey at least she isnt limited! I love the gameplay of "stop hitting yourself" operators like hoshiguna or penance
wou;dn''t have expected Dusk summons to be so damn tanky, and would expect her + Beeswax to be able to stall as much as they did also, that timing with leaving one slug alive was :chefkiss:
