You actually clarified a LOT about this event to me. For my entire lifetime I've had questions that, in fact, have always had crystal clear explanations... Right there in front of me. Only, I needed your guidance, dear Jason, to finally "see". Thank you - as always. Your teachings are highly valued and treasured in my heart. Prayers for blessings to you and your precious family❤

God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, its always been a lamb from the foundation of the world. God does not, can't ever cause someone to sin or tempt them. The conversation between God and cain sounds like knows what is right and chooses his own way.

Here's a thought about the two sacrifices. Cain's sacrifice had a very generic description. "He brought an offering of the fruits of the ground". Rather basic. Abel's offering however was very specific. "The firstborn of his flock, and portions of their fat. Abel took care to make sure his offering would be a sacrifice of careful consideration. Thus God considered it.

Cain took the wrong offering. It doesn’t come out here, but in exodus and Leviticus. Cain gave a thanks offering not a sin offering which able gave which was a lamb. I believe when Adam and Eve lost their robes of righteousness that God showed them what to do ie a lamb was sacrificed and it’s skin used to cover them physically, it’s blood covers spiritually pointing forward to Christs sacrifice on the cross.

I am curious. When you pray do you have to speak or can God hear our thoughts?
@CubanFireball81
@CubanFireball81 8 месяцев назад
This is a great question. It is my opinion that God can hear what’s in our hearts and doesn’t require us to vocalize our prayers. However, when we say things aloud it often times helps us feel a conviction and solidifies our own words to us. Much like how a Battle Cry brings more life to our words when said aloud, than if we say them in our head. Ultimately, I suspect it’s a matter of personal preference :) this is just my opinion and I hope it helps in some way.

In 1 Samuel 1 it talks of Hannah quietly praying go to God at the tabernacle. Her lips moved but she didn’t make any sound. Eli the priest thought she was drunk and started to rebuke her but she defended herself by explaining that she was praying that way because she was very sorrowful at not being able to conceive. God heard her pray and she did conceive and gave birth to Samuel. So yes He knows our thoughts and hears when we pray silently.

Genesis 4:7 is a mistranslation and I’ll explain why. The word there in the Hebrew can either mean sin or sin offering. The YLT is a more directly accurate version of the Bible Young was a Hebrew and Greek scholar and he translated that word as sin offering. I use the YLT and the AMPC to resolve translational debacles and so far they haven’t let me down although the AMPC does seem to be biased in some areas as most translations are. The whole narrative here was that Cain was relying on his own self effort and works which are cursed while Abel was relying on the blood of the Lamb. You mentioned that Abel was given favor but Cain had that same favor but to receive that favor we cannot rely upon our own works which are cursed but only in the blood of the Lamb to be justified. When you change it from sin to sin offering it’s clear that what God is saying that if you sin I have provided a sacrifice for you and it crouches at your door and it desires you. Cain had a lamb waiting at his door for a sacrifice which he refused in order to present his own works as his sacrifice. Many modern Christian teachings tell us that God is displeased with us or pleased based on our performance. They spend inordinate amounts of time talking about what we do and our own self effort rather than simply preaching the Gospel which is the good news of Jesus Christ love and unqualified favor for you and me that has nothing to do with our effort or our cursed ability. When man fell he was placed under a curse so anything we try to do to please God will only fail so we can only rely upon the blood of the Lamb. What I love about this passage is that it desires Cain. It’s a picture of Jesus pursuing you and me to be our sacrifice. Cain represents the Old Covenant mindset based upon the law which is that you must do good to be accepted but the truth is that the only way we can be accepted is based on that sacrifice. Under the Old Covenant you must be qualified by your own self effort but under the New Covenant the only qualification is that you must be a sinner. I like in your translation how it says that it’s contrary to you. Humans because of the fall are self reliant by nature so it’s contrary to us to rely upon an unseen God. The problem with relying on our own self effort is that anything we can produce by self effort is self righteous by definition and will only end in pride. It’s SO very vitally important that we as believers understand that Jesus made a huge sacrifice for us to be accepted when He gave His life for you and me so when we disregard that sacrifice in favor of our own self righteousness we are stepping on such a wonderful gift that God gave for you and me. When God gave His Son He gave us everything so when the Bible talks about pride being the worst sin it’s because it’s such a big deal to our relationship with God and it’s like a match that lights the fire to sin. This is why Paul said that the strength of sin is the law and why he also called the law the covenant of death. Once you understand all of this you realize just how dangerous it is for church leaders and teachers to place the emphasis they do on our works and our effort. They talk more about our sin than they do the sacrifice that doesn’t just atone for sin but removes it altogether. They replace the Grace of God with an attempt to remove sin by our own effort rather than relying upon the Grace of God. A pastor I once had used to say that if you want to make sin worse in your church then have a revival. What he meant by that is that revivals back in the day meant a reinforcement of the law and the Ten Commandments. This is a strong warning that when we teach people to try to be Holy by something they do rather than who they are as sons they only make things worse. By guilting people into submission you have to trample the work of the cross which removes all guilt. The reason so many do this is because like God is telling Cain that relying upon the sacrifice of the Lamb is contrary to us and so it’s very lucrative to preach a works doctrine rather than the cross. I find it very interesting that the very last letter of the Bible is Jude and he writes saying they run riotously after the way of Cain and the way of Baalam. Cain was relying on cursed works and Baalam was paid to put a curse on God’s people. That’s exactly what the modern church does today. It’s only by Grace that we are saved. It’s not Grace plus works. It’s not Jesus and you! It’s JUST Jesus and that amazing sacrifice that He paid it all for you and me

What I find interesting when God said to Cain if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Which means to me “the not doing well” was not YET considered “sin”. Only after what Cain decides to do with that knowledge will determine sin or not. Thank you for teaching us to put on glasses to see more closely.

Many people miss this. Yahshua (Jesus) explains the Cain situation perfectly with this parable. ‭Matthew‬ ‭5:21‭-‬24‬ ‭KJVAAE‬ [21] Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: [22] but I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. [23] 👉🏾Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath aught against thee; [24] leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. That's why Elohim (God) says If you do well, will you not be accepted. We too often focus on the sacrifice he made and not the character of Cain. He was bitter and envious. He should have made amends with his Brother.

Thank you for you very interesting analysis. I see this episode happening again in the Sanhedrin, at Jesus's trial. After a plot to arrest Him and a short "conversation" with Jesus, Caiaphas (begins like Cain ;-)) torns his clothes and sends Jesus to Pilate to be killed. Pilate knew that this was an act inspired by jealousy. And Jesus's blood speaks "better things than that of Abel" (Hebrews 12:24). God bless en guide you further, brother! Greetings from The Netherlands.

Seth is the 3rd born son. 3 is an interesting number in the Bible. The names of Adams and Eves sons are also interesting. Most likely the Hebrew spelling of names are just as interesting. Our English Bibles don’t tell us. It is easy to find that information of ancient Hebrew. Not to detract from your work. It enhances your work.

Cain and Abel I believe is a snake eating its own tail, Cain rose up (like a snake) and struck his brother dead this is a snake striking with a poisonous blow not literally symbolically. Jacob grabbed his brother’s heel (trap or snare) this is the snake’s tail trying to prevent his brother from being the first born meaning the head of the snake. The head will strike first and the tail will strike last. He will bruise your head and you will bruise his heel This is a snake eating it’s own tail (head and tail become one) Cain and Abel (cannibalism) life and death are the same meaning good and evil is the same thing. Life consuming death. The tail is not a living thing but the head is. However in nature the tail looks like the head of some snakes and other snakes use their tail to lure prey in. This concludes with Ephraim and Manassa who were born in Egypt sharing in their father’s estate making them equally rich meaning both received eternal life The soul was formed from the dust of the earth. Think about everything that is connected with this, the curse, the blood of the son who offered the lamb essentially the blood of Jesus speaking from the soul of man. Think about this; the Old Testament is God vs his created sons, the New Testament is God vs his son. The Jews stood for God and the gentile stood for the sons of God they worshipped gods The gentile worshiped the sons, they gave up their worship of the sons for his actual son and the Jews kept God but the problem is that the fullness of God meaning all of God is in the son. So if you believe in Jesus you believe in God but if you believe in God you don’t know the son. All religions have a god or many gods. If you’re with God you’re his slave means you work for him you are paid for your sins with death (wages of sin is death) animal sacrifices. Jesus fulfilled the law, the law was Jesus mission he’s King Arthur the only man who could draw the sword from the stone, many tried but Jesus was called to do it. And because you believe in Jesus you have fulfilled the law but if you don’t believe then the law is still incomplete and you have to keep trying until you die, you have to keep working the earth until it bares fruit but all it bares is thorns and thistles meaning death God is judgment, he’s an all consuming fire, he’s the wide gate, Jesus is living waters, he’s salvation and he is the narrow path I think the reason is because Jesus can be seen and we have John’s witness that the spirit of God descend on Jesus and remained and since God can’t be seen, nobody has any proof that they believe in God but we who believe in Jesus have the name of God and his spirit. If God asks me what is the evidence of my faith, I will say Jesus. I’m sharing these things because they have filled me with faith and I’m hoping that it does the same for you all

At this point, I know this theory has been out there for awhile, but I'm a relatively new Christian (saved 4 years ago) and God revealed Cain as the serpent seed to me BEFORE I started finding confirmation of it from others. It was as if a voice said to me, "The sin in the garden was sexual. That's why Eve was punished with pain in child birth. Its why they suddenly became ashamed of their nakedness. Its why sexual sin is so prevalent throughout the rest of the Bible. And its why the whole world still struggles with sexual sin to this day." It literally woke me out of my sleep. AMAZING!

I don't follow the connections you are making. Are you starting to understand that Adam and Eve were not the first flesh created? The 6th day creation is described in Genesis chapter 1. It is of these people Cain took a wife. God rested on the 7th day. After that, Gen 2:5 "And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not A MAN TO TILL THE GROUND." Why would God need a man to "till the ground?" Adam and Eve hadn't yet sinned. The ground is cursed, later, in Genesis 3:17. Adam's sentence is given in Genesis 3:19 " In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return." Do you see? Adam and Eve were the beginning of the lineage to Jesus Christ. Think about the parable of The Wheat and the Tares. Sin is Satan, the father of Cain. Cain's descendants are the Kenites of 1Chron 2:55, the bad figs of Jeremiah 24, the Rechabites of Jeremiah 35, and the Pharisees/tares that had Jesus crucified. The lusts of their father they will do. They make up the beast that ascends out of the water in Revelation 13. They are the Noahides of today. They are the enemy of God. There is another truth you need to learn: We have all existed since the beginning. Consider: Job 38:4-7 "Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?" And consider John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" Ecclesiastes 1:9 "The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and THERE IS NO NEW THING UNDER THE SUN." I emailed you about the Gap Theory, you haven't responded. The gap is between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2. The doctrine of Original Sin, aka The Fall of Man, based on Adam and Eve's decision to partake of the forbidden fruit is not sound doctrine. The fall was prior to that, when Satan rebelled, and 1/3 of the hosts of heaven followed him. Genesis 2:1 "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the HOST of them." “LORD of Hosts” occurs 245 times and "LORD God of hosts" occurs 29 times in the KJV Bible. What is a host? Exodus 12:40-41 ‭KJV‬‬ “Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years. And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the HOSTS of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.” ‬‬‬‬When God said, "Let us make man in our image" He was talking to the hosts. The hosts did not know death. So, we are "made in our image." Hebrews 9:27-28 "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation." You really should respond to my responses to your email. I have a lot of information to share with you.
