I’ve seen this one a couple times and every time I think “What the heck’s wrong with you?” I wouldn’t use that in my house let alone a freakin vehicle next to a sleeping bag!🙄
I've commented exactly that elsewhere, along with the possibility of monoxide poisoning. You are always advised NOT to have naked/open flames inside a NYLON tent!! some people are candidates for the Darwin awards
The person driving the car is always there at that time too. If the strange lady is there every day why not stop and offer a lift? Or add more footage.
The collar unclips from the front after the dog's first startled jerk as if it was done by hand before it slides off when he was tossed backwards as if someone shoved him by his chest.
The guy sleeping in his truck in Sunriver, Oregon was terrifying! Someone knocking on the canopy at 2:30 am in the middle of nowhere...got my heart pumping! Why people don't take a firearm with them going into the forest I will never understand...alone no less!
That one was truly frightening. Also, why go out in the middle of nowhere ALONE? It's all dangerous. I was genuinely afraid for him. IDK how he slept at all, if he slept at all. I'm guessing he didn't want to make that trek out of there in the middle of the night, with no protection, but honestly should have never happened that way. A tent would not make me feel safer. I would feel like a sitting duck. In the long run, I'm happy that neither he or an animal was harmed. However, the only animal out at that hour, in the woods, with a flashlight, is a human. They are the scariest!!
Exactly. Granted guns can’t stop everything, but they can definitely stop humans with bad intentions. MY weapon comes with me everytime I’m out in the forest.
I was thinking that too. Is there a bus stop nearby? Did the person filming think about that or just decide to film a stranger minding their own business for some kind of internet cred? Might be the camera person that's the creepier one.
Facing the house and not the street standing as still as a statue not turning lifting a hand to wipe the face or nose or anything at all? .. I've waited for busses with lots of people and we all at least fidget about.
The creature chasing the couple thru the trees……they are either amazing actors, or they were truly interested-scared-frightened running for real. I believe that one.
Yup, agreed. I know coyote sounds very well but I’m sure if I heard them for the first time I would have thought some evil demon were outside my house.
@@kateashby3066 coyotes are monsters. At least the city ones are. Convinced a neighbor (by accident) that the foxes were back. I fox-screamed in a coyote’s face. And charged at it. Yipping in fright, it took off. No one believed the fox scream was actually a human this time! I still don’t know what I said, but that and the charging scared the coyotes off that night
@@icarusbinns3156hm. Who’s the monster, a being minding their own business trying to just live their lives around oppressive tyrannical lifeforms that feel entitled to the land and build their homes without a thought or care for who called it home first, in their territories - or someone who chooses to attempt to traumatize one just for being in their vicinity? Some self reflection is in order for you.
Just a side on the caged dog: I’ve owned dogs forever. I’ll never understand the rationale of caging them at night. It actually prevents them from doing their nightly duty of guarding or alerting. If in an emergency, you want your powerful friend to be enabled to protect appropriately or to escape in the case of a fire. My dogs usually slept in an adjacent room to my bedroom but had free access with no doors or barriers between them and me. They had the freedom to roam the house and even to jump up onto the foot of our beds (the kid’s rooms too) whenever they felt like it. And while closing your bedroom door is appropriate at times, the length and breadth of the house should have no barriers between the doors and windows and the dog’s ability to access them. Just sayin’.
The only time I have ever kenneled a dog at night was if they were sick or when I had a puppy and she was still learning potty training. I agree with allowing them to free roam in the evening as long as the the area they are in is dog proofed (safe) and you do not allow dogs that may fight to be free together unattended (while human is sleeping). Everyone has their own preference and reasoning. My biggest question is why people have a dog and do not allow it on furniture or worse the people that leave their dogs chained up in yards 24/7 like my neighbors.
SO SO true. I HATE using cages to put dogs in. My dog is spoilt .... he has our sofa to sleep on. He DOES have dog beds, but prefers sofa òr our bed lol.
I think that was what freaked the doggo out. They hate being locked in. It makes them feel unsafe as they can't react to predators, or whatever. I'd never cage my dog, it's cruel!!
when our great dane was a puppy, he would rip our furniture apart when we were gone, even just to the grocery store so he would have to go in a cage. other people use them when they can't supervise their puppies at night and are afraid of accidents
That first one spooked me. It reminds me of a story that happened about 25 years ago. My younger brother and some friends went hitchhiking around the country. At one point, they were camped out behind a mall, next to a river and they heard what they described as a guy freaking out like he was getting attacked by bees or something. Then they noticed other voices that sounded like they were trying to be quiet, and it freaked them out enough to pack up and run. They found out the next day that some people beat a homeless guy to death right near where they were. I'm sorry to drop a fucked up story like that on you, but that's what the first video reminded me of.
Yep, and that’s why I always say call the state troopers and the Forest rangers and give them the time date and where the noise originated from that way if someone was missing or kidnapped
1 year ago I was sleeping but woke up in the middle of the night and the weirdest noise from what sounded like a human or animal could be heard, it sounded like something in between, I've never heard anything like it before, it didn't sound like someone was attacked, but if you imagine some kind of creature having some kind of agony. First I thought it was some dog needing help, but when I focused on the sound it sounded more human-like but not exactly a human, it was some animal noise in there as well, it was so weird. But the place I was sleeping at was a very heavy residential area, but the area is on the edge of a big city so it's very close to some forests, it's an area a lot of newly made families are living in, so they have built a lot of homes and apartments around that area, so there's not a lot of criminal activity around there, and most likely not many drug-addicts. But it sounded exactly like some kind of creature in some kind of agony, and it kept going for at least 5 minutes. I didn't really want to dress myself to go out and see what it was, and I was thinking that if there is some kind of trouble out there some other neighbor that are closer to the sound may call the police. But to this day I have no idea what it was, and I kinda regret not walking out there and try to see what it was, but it was a creature like sound.
I have to ask why anyone would hide in a tent. That seems like more of a head in the sand thing… “if I can’t see them, they can’t hurt me” 🤷🏻♀️😆. Noooo!
IKR. And staying in it even after someone hit the side and he freaked out ! Idiotic. Also he was close enough to see their light which means they could see AND HEAR him yet he didn’t stfu or quiet his breathing. Idk how he slept through them shining a bright light into the tent either. I wouldn’t have waited til morning to leave I would have packed and left before they even hit the tent.
It can help if the men outside are poachers. If they see a lit tent they would go away because 1. they have no intention to kill people, 2. they don't want to be detected.
Trust me....first hand experience. The scariest sound you can wake up to is a Great Dane starting to puke. You can walk on water to get him out of the house!
Lmao I have a weenie dog who sleeps with me and lemme tell you when I say I’m also Psychic when it comes to my dog getting sick and I gain superpowers in moving him off the bed before it happens lol
The amount of people who go off into the wilderness, without any kind of protection for themselves never ceases to amaze me. May not be able to stab or shoot a spirit or anything like that but CJ clearly was being followed by another person. And the fact that he heard a shot ring out not to long after he got there tells me he definitely wasn’t alone. One thing I know is this. If it bleeds you can injure or kill it. If it doesn’t then get tf out of there as fast as you can, if it’s dark and you have to stay until sun up, it’s best to not go to sleep, you light a fire, set up some kind of early warning system, and always camp in a place where you can see in all directions. I am scared more of what another human is going to do to me then some ghost or creature. Us human beings (some of us) are the real things of nightmares. Judging from the light he saw that was an actual person and the one that was outside walking around his tent indicates he was being tailed by another person and had that other person decided to be malicious, he would have ended CJ that night. Always bring protection when out in the forest, rife, sidearm, or a damn knife. Bring something for crying out loud. Hell when I go off for walks in the woods, and I don’t go that far from the house most times, I’ve got all three things and a first aid kit along with me. Glad CJ made it out in one piece, and on the off chance it was all staged, shame on him.
The one that is 13 minutes in where the guy is pulled across the floor looks like he’s pushing himself as if he’s on some sort of cart with wheels. It also appears initially he’s pulled by a string. There are too many anticipatoryial physical actions from the person that tells one that he knows what’s about to happen and is basically doing a skit. I also find it unusual that there is nobody else in the room. The box is falling over do not seem to impact as if they have any weight. Well done otherwise but it does look like it is a very thought out skit
At 38:30, that loud snapping sound is the sound of a high velocity bullet passing close by. Ask any combat vet. Wether it was fired at the RU-vidr or not is not known.
I don’t understand his logic by potentially being hunted down, then lighting up his position with his phone/ torch. There’s no way on gods green earth would I EVER do that in the same situation! He gave his position away in such a careless manner, running back towards the tent only gives the other party a heads up to your camp. As you see by the fact he was found but nothing happened. He was either REALLY stupid, or it was staged.
@@Markie_Smizzle I know absolutely nothing of camping, but the filmer was definitely the sketchy one. I put myself in the other person's shoes: oh someone saw my light, reacted by going dark and hiding?... Why are they acting so sketchy? Oh it's just a dumb camper, alright then. I'll continue hunting or whatever I came to do. Dude definitely escalated that by being weird, if I was that scared and worried I'd have just left outright. I would have also had some guns for protection from wildlife. Then again I don't camp so I dunno
All I'm saying is it sounds like the first one was in fact sounds of pleasure. If that is the case, good on 'em as long as everyone involved was a willing participant and safety words were established and respected.
The uk has well known dogging spots out in the woods so ye sounds like pleasure cause it is lol dogging if u don’t know is Randy couples doing it in the woods and people watch and sometimes join in 😂
Sounded like a DEAF or maybe even mentally disabled guy got scared silly while camping.. Ugh..🤢 cant imagine that sound belting out of someone getting it on with me.. traumatic 😳
I have had a music box that was broken for several years, suddenly start playing. The thing wouldn't even wind up previously. That was an extremely creepy moment.
Those ones with the man on the ocean really freaks me out. The oceans are so deep and vast, only having been explored in a small part of it. Who knows what the heck is out there. 😮😅
At the beginning of the video at 44:23 you can see a wire going into the ocean. There is another one on the other side of the boat. At night that is what he sees in the water. It looks like a flopper stopper for keeping the boat from rolling too much.
@@SlappedHam my childhood nightmare was waking up out in deep water with huge underwater shadow while only on a blowup floating mattress like those used in pools! 😬
@@SlappedHam... hey Ham, most of these you have put up in earlier posts. Don't get me wrong, they're good (some even great!) but come on man; I don't have WiFi and this killing my data! : )
That would be horrifying. I want to know what is considered emergency shelter during a nuclear invasion, other than possibly underground, and I'm still not confident.? Some humans, along with their destructive and deadly ways and weapons, do scare me way more than any cryptid or ghost.
Those sheep are the animal equivalent to the UN-Assembly, all following each other, going in circles and have not got the slightest idea what they are doing there!!😂
Fun Fact: Gordon Ramsey's house is also in South West London in the same area where the first guy on this video camped out to cook. Talk about cooking near a chef king. That's brilliant !
The first one might just be a hard drug user. It woke me up a couple months ago when I heard something VERY similar to that on the streets. I ended up just closing my window, but it was kind of terrifying.
Fact my roommate constantly wakes me up there's people outside with flashlights yo there's banging on the wall yo someone is chanting I'm like yooo get some sleep
I live in UK lol Boxhill is known for dogging lol People who park near woods and remote places to engage is seedy acts. That’s probably some bloke getting shafted by 5 other men etc.
"On first viewing, it is hard to tell what exactly is going on. But on subsequent playthroughs, it doesn't become much clearer, either." You got me in the first half, I'm not gonna lie.
Music boxes are notorious for going off for no apparently reason. I think it’s just the mechanism. So many have done this that I have personally witnessed from several different family and friends homes that I can’t think of this as a paranormal event in general. Not to say it can’t ever be a paranormal cause. But it’s one of those that I usually discount no matter how creepy it is. Or maybe I’m just haunted. Not sure. 😆 Cheers
mermaids and sirens often get mixed together because of the fact that they both: 1) ate sailors 2) lived in/around the ocean 3) had the faces of beautiful women.
Hi Slapped Ham, I love your videos but just wanted you to know the bird like half woman looking creatures are known as a Harpies while sirens have always been known to be mermaid like. Thanks for your great videos. 😊❤
Greek sirens are depicted as beautiful women that were bird like in pottery and tomb art. At some point they began to denote mermaid, harpy and siren as different figures.
When the guys boxes fell from shelf just before him getting dragged the length of the Wearhouse floor all the dropped boxes seemed to vanish from the isle floor.. 🤔🤔.. Maybe i missed something 🤔🤪
I think the microwave clip would have been more convincing and impressive if Kevin (the supposed spirit) would have closed the microwave door instead of opening it.
Awesome! Thanks Kallen!🙏🏻💖 Maybe the last video with the skeleton woman at the roadside is a victim hovering around a corpse? I hope somebody stops next time to speak with her. It's sad🙏🏻💖 God bless all of the lonely spirits eh?
Box Hill is well known for its weird goings on 😂I think it's called Dogging! I like that wendigo vid, who added the music I wonder!?!😂 Them things keeping pace with the boat may be stabilisers!?!
These may be new to you but long time subscribers to Slapped Ham like myself have seen these numerous times. Kallen does this quite frequently. He's the only one who does this.
Please don't tell me the guy in the Forrest doesn't have any weapons on him, right?!. People are so used to having a safe life that they don't even think about anything going wrong. Lol
The guy that kept knocking on the other dude's truck at 2:30am - honestly, if its in the middle of the forest, there's not much in the way of ambient noise, so with how intently he was trying to get in, he was probably like pressing his face to the spots he wiped the dust from and heard the whispering. Especially with how many 's' and 't' sounds he used.
The folks running in the woods makes my heart stop literally. Why? Because I have actually seen one of those camouflaged/ transparent things in real life and they are absolutely for real. Can't say I think it's a wendigo but they certainly exist and roam forested areas.
On the video near the end where the building is being demolished it looks like there is someone watching from the second level up as well. It’s looking straight at the camera with glowing eyes.
