Bipod is a great perk, just not for dps. But it's absolutely amazing for gms. In a gm setting, nearly everything dies in 1/2 rockets with or without bipod so having the extra rockets in reserves is always worth it. Pairing it with envious on Osprey allows you to shoot 5 straight and pairing with field prep on Semiotician with tripple reserves allows you to hold 20 rockets. 20 rockets is absolutely insane. So while it's a bad perk for raid and dungeon bosses, for nearly anything else, namely gms and non boss raid/dungeon encounters it's a great perk.
If you're on titan, hazardous propulsion with surges makes bipod rockets do over 100k per rocket, ive been enjoying buried bloodline to charge hazardous, the new seasonal faith-keeper for auto Loading-bipod and tracking from the frame
@@griqsnot going away just can’t swap a chestpiece for them. Which means in any endgame content they are practically going away because the extra resist is practically required. Especially since bungie randomly decided they should all be -5 at all times now.
@@griqsthe bright side is that Bungie said they will be increasing the base reserves of all weapons so we won’t feel like we will be missing out, and if u want extra ammo just run the reserve mod
The new rocket having tracking built in with field/auto loading and bipod is amazing. It makes the simple gameplay even easier because you don’t have to aim as hard
I’m not gonna lie, I would always throw on Edge Transit with Envious/BnS for literally EVERY boss (funny part is that it always worked most of the time)
Pretty much all instances of bosses in this game that will work, but it's not always optimal, especially in still hunt rotations where you want apex or a solar GL to match surges
@@lilwook2 ah sorry misread. the simple comb is not the problem. The problem with envious + cascade is a huge problem. And THAT will be removed because the dps is out of this world. little explanation: The shiny had the possibility to drop with 2 perks on each coloumn. so technicly you could get an edge Transit with Envious assassin and cascade point in the third one. Combining this with Bait and Switch you had the best weapon in the game. Right now its possible to load your weapon with envious to tripple the mag and then switch the perk to cascade point and shoot out around 13 Grenades in this 5.5 seconds. So it is easily possible to dumb out an extrem amount of dmg and to switch out to the next dps weapon to do maximum damage. so dont worry, i just didnt read right :D
I came back after years for Final Shape and I am grinding for a good Edge Transit. Unbelievable. This was a meme back in 2017. Almost impossible to get a god roll now. But man this does bump your DPS like crazy
Thanks for the video! That player who soloed the encounter with The Witness gave what's probably the best example of damage output and survival, at least for that encounter.
One of my fav dps weapons is the dragons breath exotic stacked out with improved ignitions and I pair this with an auto loading recombination mountaintop and a golden gun. Constantly gets me damage in the 3 million range
Absolutely disgusting for a solar build its a must have then pair that with no hesitation incadecent physic auto rifle heal your team m8s blow stuff up and on hunter ypur ability uptime is absolutely BROKEN you get grenades and your dodge back every 2 secs its really really good i approve been my go to exptic rocket launcher since d1 😂
Plz unless there is no other options dont use heavy linears. A taipan with triple tap firing line does similar dps to outbreak with max nanites (within 2%). Linears are very underpowered right now and need a buff. Use whisper, leviathans breath, still hunt, or even microchasm instead. All of these options except microchasm do better dps than the best possible linear which is, Adaptive burst linear fusion rifle Charge MW, Accelerated Coils, Envious Assassin swap to Cornered + enh. Surrounded + Adept Charge Time (Scintillation (Adept)) + Rain of Fire reloads from Aegis's damage sheet.
How is accelerated coils + charge time mw good on scintillation? I have that roll with rewind rounds bns and it says using enhanced battery has the same charge time as using accelerated coils (charge time mw is level 10).
One small thing about the heavy attacks with swords. For all architypes of legendaries the heavy attacks increase the dps and lower the total damage. The dps increase is often pretty minor so as Shadow said in the video light attacks are usually preferred.
if you need precision damage i would HIGHLY recommend staying away from linears for stuff like whisper, leviathans breath and other exotics as linears are really mediocre damage. dont use them unless you have to.
I regret dismantling a LOT of weapons with Disruption Break, now. I didn't think there would EVER be a Kinetic Heavy. Let alone one good enough to see lots of use.
You need to break a shield with the weapon that has disruption break so it wouldn't work anyway. Ain't no major boss with a shield that DB can take off and shielded enemies are only like 1/3 of the things you'll face out there
@@firenzarfrenzy4985 ghosts of the deep is i think the single instance of shielded bosses that you have to break the shield of. also couldnt you use arby to pop a shield like that then loadout hotswap to microcosm?
The best usage you're going to get out of disruption break is having it paired with auto loading holster on a blinding nade launcher. It's phenomenal for gm's, regardless of whatever kinetic is being paired with it.
Out of the most recent two runs on warlord ruin. The final boss I am doings between 7 and 8 million total damage with my crafted Pro Memoria with witherhoard.
A couple things I noticed were slightly off / not clarified about swords: 1. Caster perfect 5th actually does scale pretty well in team settings, it’s the wave swords that lose damage for some reason. 2. Enhanced surrounded Bequest is actually a 42% dmg increase, not 35%. The perk can scale differently depending on what weapon it is on, such as enhanced surrounded on Apex or Crux.
no caster 5th still dont. its why the sniper artifact perk isnt absolutely broken, because ignites are shared across the team, not the individual. while it does ramp up scorch stacks faster, its still not worth it, and the ignitions are the entire point why caster 5th is so good.
Paring scintillation with the new raid exotic on a warlock is one of the best damage builds I've ever used. Both taking advantage of weapon surges as well as having massive ammo reserves for any long damage phase
Yeah but you'll finish your rotation in a week at that point. Both require high uptime and no quickswaps, and Heavy LFR are totally trash. You might as well use a Recon/ALH rocket and do your main damage with Euphony. Also, what happens if Threadlings can't reach the boss? It's a niche build that does well when it works, but really bad when it doesn't.
@@themaxpanteraschannel9459 regular heavy lfrs are bad. burst lfrs are far better. euphony has no issue proccing threadling hits on witness, neither does needlestorm or threadling grenades.
Use a gernade launcher for 90% of bosses. Never use a linear if possible Swords on bosses that are trickky to hit or have alot of health. Just stillhunt if on hunter
for some short dps phases but you still want to use apex: reload apex manually => switch to witherhoard or something for 1 shot => go back to apex to fire 2 shots
The sword light attack thing is so true whenever I’m doing herald with my gold guillotine I’m always doing the most damage while I watch my teammates hack away with heavy attacks and they don’t come within 1 million of my damage if we wipe and see damage numbers. I love OG guillotine but the I got mine with frenzy and surrounded or whirlwind blade it literally works in both scenarios absolutely disgusting that they somehow made guillotine three times better with the into the light version.
whirlwinds better if youve got a wolfpack ergo sum , since it ramps your stacks up twice as fast. been rocking that as well, frenzy whirlwind is really good
Personally, the only bipod rocket i use is crux with it and clown. I used it in the nezarek pantheon at the microcosm encounter, shooting three rockets and then swapping to cloudstrike, reload while switching plates and repeat.
The rocket chest piece on titan can do insane dps on legend and master level dungeons, especially with crafted apex and 2 rocket pistols. Also, the void crossbow from one of the dungeons counts as a rocket pistol so with catalyst you can still debuff without tractor cannon. Looking forward to the new solar rocket pistol so I can slap on those solar surge mods.
Crux Termination can get enhanced reconstruction with bipod for 4 rockets in the mag and offset the damage decrease with impact casing. It’s my most used rocket this season by FAR and shreds bosses
I'm pretty sure lasting impression only buffs the explosion damage, making it about a 20% damage buff, but the main thing about the perk is the delay and permanent up time
for Bipod I used that over Bait and Switch on Apex on Pantheon and was consistently getting the Highest damage, Bipod is slept on and its better than what people give it credit for
After Looking through all of collections I finally found what rocket launcher that actually is. It is in fact not "Dragon's Breath" and is instead something called "THe Hothead".
you failed to mention that Crux Termination and Apex Predator both roll with Reconstruction and Bipod, which leads to 4 shots in the magazine (albeit at slightly reduced damage) and Reconstruction can handle the reloading when you swap to a different weapon for DPS... this paired with Gjallarhorn on a teammate means you rapid fire 4 rockets into a bosses face and then can poke the boss with something else like still hunt for some bonker's damage numbers while you wait for your rocket to reload!
btw for swords it's great if you use your heavy attack when you have it, just not on vortex because it consumes so much ammo and the dps is the worst out of all options. better to stick with adaptives or summum bonum
12:13 That not the best way to proc BnS, it's better if you shoot your other 2 weapons and then start shooting you rocket since the first shot of the rocket that actually procs BnS also get the benefits of the perk even tho you can't see it as numbers in your screen. You can confirm this if you go to the Aegis' spreadsheet and go to the Q&A section, he explains it there. And even if it didn't you are still losing time if you shoot rocket and then the rest, the first shot would still not be buffed so you are wasting time by changing between every shot, best if you do it the way I mentioned at the start. Edit: Also, don't keep activating the perk like that, once you proc it is better if you keep reloading and shooting it as normal until the perk runs out of time.
@@jackalsniper892 im sorry if this comes off as a little condescending or something, but... how on earth do you wipe around wave 10 of onslaught? is it with randoms? legend difficulty? this has truly piqued my interest
@@thepixarl4mp it's always with randoms , always on legend difficulty, I'm also not aware, what's the difference between legend and normal now? They both say power level 1900, I just assume legend gives more rewards so I do that, but usually we can't defend ADU on higher waves
@@jackalsniper892 i see.. well, iirc the big difference between normal and legend onslaught is the power cap for each wave set where on normal, a given wave would cap you at -5 (5 below the enemies), that same wave on legend would cap you at -15; thus the enemies have an even greater power difference between you, without changing their listed power (the 1900 "recommended power" you see on the launch node)
All you gotta do is Pop super pop transcend, shoot Goldie, shoot sniper x6 swap weapons shoot, swap, shoot, swap, switch loadlouts, get orbs, shoot sniper, apply for mlg, wipe sweat off your forehead, swap weapons, shoot again, do 5 jumping jacks, and repeat. Simple
I’ve never done a raid before since I don’t have enough people, but I really want to stick with DMT, would that work if I can hit my shots and use other weapons to back it up, or is it just a lost cause that I should keep for regular PvE and PvP?
If you mean using DMT as your main method of Boss DPS, then yes it is a lost cause. If you mean using DMT strictly as your primary weapon, and not as your main method of Boss DPS then it is fine. I will say that scout rifles are not great in the current PVE sandbox, which doesn't matter much in the strike playlist or seasonal activities but matters quite a bit in raids. DMT for example, does not have great ad clear potential in comparison to Incandescent or Voltshot weapons, the survivability of a Heal Clip or Repulsor Brace weapon, or the utility of a Chill Clip or Slice weapon (these are only examples of meta perks). However, if you aren't dying and are pulling your weight on damage/ad clear, you can use whatever you want. A good raider will constantly keep tabs on their own performance, and understand their weaknesses as a player on top of what playstyles they find fun. If my team keeps wiping and it's because I keep dying, I may run a loadout more focused on my survival than on ad clear. If you like DMT though, I would recommend checking out the aggressive frame Legendary Scouts, especially the new one Timeworn Wayfarer, it functions like DMT in terms of fire rate, reload, etc. but it can roll Heal Clip/Incandescent, which is kind of the PVE meta for legendary primaries right now.
You really don't wanna be relying on primary weapons for DPS, you need to use heavy for DPS mostly. Doesn't mean you can't still run DMT, you just can't do boss damage with it
@@hellothere-dk4ggI was going to say if he insists on doing dps with a primary I would advise Polaris lance or outbreak perfected But there’s no point when we have all these better options
My dear titan mains , there a high dmg options for you : first use grand overture with the new chest exo for extremly high and easy burst dmg , also using " no back up plan" gives you a huge dmg boost on shotguns like 4th horseman or legend of acrius while having a void overshield pairing that with either a void subclas or even better using prismatic to give you overshield with shield throw and unbreakable makes it easy to prog . Also on some bosses that are big and on the ground using star eater with glacial quake is a good dmg option to when ur team is ok with that because stasis cristal can easily mess up your team mates but glacial quake is the highest dmg super in the game
Extra Note :Banner shield Like He Said is a realy good Support Option Not only because the DMG boost but the supers time is longer when you protect more Team mates from dmg also the more Team mates are behind your shield the more orbs of Powers will get produced while blocking dmg

@@ShadowDestiny2 to be honest, I tried on both my laptop speakers and my studio headphones and it's the same on both (slightly better on the headphones of course)!
This titan slander is egregious. You can literally use raw dog Void Titan with twilight arsenal, the rocket chest piece and a microcosm to be in the top 3 (if not number one) dps of any standard raid team.
@@rollenfocus2697not now, it has always been worse than heartshadow. The nerf it received changed almost nothing. What changed is the existence of Wave Sword Frames and Wolfpack rounds on swords, meaning that now there's much more competition between heavy swords and most legendaries can do better than Lament while still being pretty easy to use. Pair it with all the survivability tools we got and the healing from Lament has become obsolete, making the weapon basically useless.
hot take cellist is the best exotic. here is why i can put it on shoot the boss go invis because why not and change back to my normal exotic right after dps. you change before and after so use presets and well it’s dumb af i swear
here is a lil tip for people when using swords, cuz of bungie's spaghetti code cap your FPS to 60 doing so will make all swords way more consistant and will make it so you dont fly though the boss
@@IvyDoomsday weird, never happends to me or the people that iv played with. Guess it depends what boss aswell, cus crota is just strange in it self and wizards will always be unreliable.
@@IvyDoomsday that is true, I do find that it is more crota that goes a bit weird in the sens of sudenly floating, but I could be wrong, iv not had it happen on the boss in the new raid but if it does then yeah that vould for sure be a problem but then I think it is more so bungie and their bosses and not the swords spesificly again could be wrong im just speaking from my experiance and what others iv played with had told me 😄
About swords. If you can use swords, use Acrius. I have played crotas end with lfg like 15 times and theres always lament and bequest users who do about 4mil dmg and im chilling with acrius and doing about 6mil dmg. Just saying.
That’s user error. Lament is pretty bad now, but because Crota takes 35% more damage from swords they will handily out damage acrius, especially with how juiced they are via the artifact perks.
linears are dogshit no matter how you see it, the best possible linear with a prefect role, perk swapping and prefect setup does about the same damage as holding left click with microcosm, there is absolutely no reason to *ever* use linears in the current meta.
At 18:40 Its so true!~ Im still a bit of a new Hunter player and people Kepp telling me just how great golden gun/Still hunt is yet im horrible with Sniper play and i have a horrible time hitting "headshots" So even between damage phases im sat here dealing 400-500K damage but i swap over to Microcosim and i go upwards to 3-4M damage. While i Love build craft and Min maxing damage I personally just dont have the Mechanical skill to use the harder weapons for max damage
@@IvyDoomsday Yeah alot of the newer bosses are big very low movment bosses recently so that makes sense, but alot of the raid/dungeons i was doing with my friends were throwing me up against fast moving bosses that move and walk around the stadium which is why i was having such a hard time with it
Microchasm is an absolutely broken combo paired with celestial night hawk and golden gun im surprised no one has discussed or even tryed that yet microchasm is absolutely broken rn and i feel like for some reason when paired woth celestial my golden gun charges INCREDIBLY FAST during boss dmg phase idk why lol 😅
After absorbing and analysis the information from the guide, the very single thing you gotta do to optimize dps was to ALWAYS do it with Thunderlord. That's all you need, and they'll hate you for being right.
Not gonna lie man, I really liked the content but 10,000 silver 🤤🤤🤤 I'll subscribe for that!! Imagine, that world of drip! 💧 That's the world I'd like to someday live in.
Please stay away from linears if you're able to. If you need precision damage then whisper and leviathan's breath are just better, microcasm is another option that has far better ease of use than linears for situations where whisper and levi aren't good. Also stay away from raycons, they're complete garbage in terms of audio quality. It's worth saving the extra money to get a more reputable pair from sony, samsung or apple, if you want cheap and wired isn't a dealbreaker then look for wired IEMs, they're so much better quality for the price. $20 can get you a pair of wired IEMs that sound as good or better than $120+ wireless earbuds.
I always use the wired headphones, wireless always has some sort of problem, whether it be connection or audio quality. A lot of them sound tinny, but many wired headphones I've tried sound really good. Crispy clear audio with the highs not being too high, and lows not being too low. Spiky sounds hurts my ears.
@@rollenfocus2697 nah check aegis new video star eater nova is literally higher burst by itself now. Well over 1.1 million, only reason hunter is so good is because of still hunt. Without that sniper it’s 100x better to run all locks instead of hunters
